If I could leave zero stars, I would. We ordered pizza and a 2 liter bottle of soda at 11:30 last evening Dec. 12th, the store is approximately 3.4 miles from our home according to google maps, that's a 10 minute drive. The confirmation email stated that the pizza would be delivered at 12:02 AM. At 1:20 AM it finally showed up, stone cold. The delivery man identified himself as Robert Petrie when asked,(spelling of last name unsure but phonetically it sounds like petri as in a petri dish) he was irate with me, said that I "shouldn't order pizza from them at 11 pm due to him being the only driver who delivers to over 30,000 people" I was speechless to say the least, when I told him I was going to file a complaint he said go ahead but you WILL keep ordering from us. Excuse me?!?! He then made an off the wall comment as he slurred his speech further and said "if you don't like bread then don't order pizza" at this point I knew the man was intoxicated. When I asked him where our 2 liter bottle of soda was he took it out of his vehicle and tossed it into the back of my truck. Needless to say the very second the customer service hot-line opens today I will be filing a complaint as high up as I can go. This man needs to be fired. Period. And as for Pizza Hut, I will absolutely never order from them again...
Read moreWill not ever spend my money at this establishment again. There are too many restaurants that value customers and want return business. Your store on Cattlemen Road has an attitude of reflecting poor training and leadership to its employees. I've seen many understaffed restaurants since Covid operate, they may be behind and a bit slower etc. but they treat customers with respect. I left two pizzas, (Paid for online already) in the store because of how rude your employee was to my daughter who stood waiting for fifteen minutes with no acknowledgment while our two pizzas were sitting "paid for" in the togo heat box. She placed the pizzas in the box in front of us and made us wait. It took more time to place the pizzas in the hot case than hand them to my daughter. She let me know she was in complete control and I would get the pizzas when she was ready to give them to me. They were the only pizzas sitting in the box. I assume they are still there. Thirty dollars doesn't mean a lot to Pizza Hut last night however, I probably spend over twelve hundred dollars a year at Pizza Hut's across the United States, which I will now seek another establishment. This wasn't the first negative experience at this establishment on Cattlemen Road, but...
Read moreThis evening, our family decided to order in a Pizza. We chose Pizza Hut because it is so close to our home, approximately 2 miles, Bee Ridge & Cattleman Rd, in Sarasota, Fl. Our order was for one large Stuffed Crust Pizza… It took almost 1 hour to be delivered. The pizza was warm, not hot. The crust was so thin we could hardly tell it was even there. The cheese in the Stuffed Crust was horrible. The sausage had no taste and looked like little pre-frozen balls the size of jelly beans. Each pizza slice averaged 2 pepperonis and the mushrooms were sliced so thin we could see through them. The black olives, green peppers & banana peppers were in small bits and not the nice chunky slices were accustomed to. Extra pizza sauce was ordered. There was barely any on the pizza…. To put it kindly we were very disappointed.
The total cost for this order, including convenience fee and taxes came to $24.79, which we thought was on the high side, especially so once we saw the pizza. In closing I can say, with out a doubt, our family will never place another order from Pizza Hut. We will be telling all family and friends as well so they do not have the same disappointing...
