In the past when I got a craving for pizza I would rotate between Pizza Hut, Westshore Pizza and EastCoast Pizza, depending on what type of pizza experience I wanted. After my neighbor got a job as a delivery driver at the Pizza Hut in Gibsonton and told me about how the cooks were spitting, putting nose waste and other things in the pizzas. After hearing this I stopped buying pizza from Pizza Hut for a couple of years, replaced them with Hungry Howie and Poppa Johns. Since no one made the BBQ like Pizza Hut I started ordering from them again, new management and staff, I heard. Well, Friday I ordered a large BBQ Beef, a Meatlovers pan pizzas and an order of breadsticks. When the driver handed me the order I noticed the breadstick package appeared to be damp, as if it had been steamed. Once I opened the pizza box my wife and I noticed the pizza dough was not crispy and felt like it too had been steamed. We ate a couple of slices anyway, thinking the dampness may have been cause by the pizzas being in the air tight delivery bag to long. The left overs were put into the refrigerator as usual to be eaten later. Saturday night we thought we would have a slice. Upon opening the box we noticed mold on the BBQ pizza. It was after hours so I was not able to call Pizza Hut until Sunday. On Sunday I called and spoke to the manager, Michael. I explained the above and his response was " I. never heard of this situation, and suggested it wasn't dampness I saw but oil/grease from cooking. He the said it's been two days since ordering, sorry nothing he could do. I'm very disappointed, obviously there was a problem and it wasn't our storing it in my refrigerator which is set at 35 degrees. We normally have left overs for a day or two. NO MORE...
Read moreJawan is a racist and was extremely disrespectful and does not have any customer service skills. I walked into the building around 7:30pm on 8/1 along with several other people whom happened to be black and I was the only white female in the lobby. The heavy set black man who works there, Jawan looked directly at me and shouted “DRIVETHRU” without hesitation. He told me he wasn’t taking anyone in the lobby as there was a black female at the counter getting her order taken by him, four black young males sitting in the lobby waiting for pizza, and one older black male who walked in the door behind me. He did not address anyone other than me and told me I was needing to get out and go through the drive through. I asked him if I could pickup my pizza and he shouted at me for the second time “DRIVE THROUGH”. I asked what everyone else was in the lobby being taken care of for but not me? He shouted for the THIRD time “DRIVE THROUGH” as I looked around the room that is when it only made sense to me that Jawan the man behind the counter who works for Pizza Hut was clearly a RACIST! I drove around to pickup my pizza through the drive through since Jawan was clearly not going to be taking care of me specifically. Fernando at the Window had advised me that they were still taking orders through the lobby so he wasn’t sure why I was told by Jawan to come through the drive through but he was able to assist other customers. This is HIGHLY unacceptable behavior from ANYONE! I will no longer be back and I hope something is done so that Jawan does not make anyone else feel as uncomfortable or discriminated against. BBB will be getting contacted in regards to such racism and...
Read moreI've been going to Pizza Hut since I was about 4 years old my mom used to take us all the time. I'm 65 now. Ordered two pizzas last night three toppings 14-in never got a pizza anywhere from any place as bad as they were even Domino's was better last week.for one the toppings were very slim for a three topping pizza we had to look for the bacon cuz we couldn't even find it or taste it hardly. Pepperoni was even very light maybe two slices per every other slice. The sauce was unfindable. Any sauce that was on it was pushed up against the crust nothing on the flat part of the pie except the little color red. Couldn't even taste the sauce and that's the main ingredient that makes the pie. Onions are far and few between. The only thing that we can really see was on the pizza was pepperoni and mushroom. Even though the pepperoni was very slim you can't miss it or the mushrooms. We found ourselves searching for the bacon and the onions. from time my mom used to take us there till now I never got this lousy of a pizza from Pizza Hut that's why we ordered it was a good deal and the pizzas usually good. Usually I order extra sauce but I forgot. Even though I didn't order extra sauce we shouldn't have to look for it we picked up the cheese and couldn't see sauce hardly anywhere but a little reddish color on the dough and and the sauce we did see was pushed up against the crust not evenly distributed. I owned two restaurants and I made pizza and they were even better than these were and Pizza Hut is usually really good and I haven't been making pizzas for what 50 years like Pizza Hut and the ones I made in my...
