Riviera Mediterranean Grille — Restaurant in Florida

We ordered dinner for 14 people this past Saturday evening. The owner was so incredibly accommodating and offered the freshest and very delicious trays of food! My guests were delighted and so were we! I had seen a comment on the app n&xt d@@r that bashed this great gem of a restaurant due to a unforeseen long wait because of an employee shortage which is a huge problem right now for us small business owners. (I also own a small business and cannot find qualified employees right now). People, please think long and hard before posting a derogatory comment against a hard working, short-staffed, severely effected business owner! We are working sometimes 14-16 hour days to keep up the finest standards we are committed to providing for our customers! Your negative comments can ruin their reputation! This owner, is an upstanding, committed and hard working small business owner whom I had decided to give a try, in fact, to see if the negative comments formally posted were justified, which were unaquivically incorrect! We will definitely return to this restaurant and informed all of our guests to do the same! They all concurred! If you want the freshest, cooked-to-order quality lunch or dinner, give Riviera a try! Imagine my surprise to see a flag proclaiming the availability of falafel at a location as I drive past on SR70; one of my favorite things, and on a local road I use regularly! Occupying the space formerly housing Full Belly Burgers, a lovely Mediterranean restaurant has been established for long enough that I'm ashamed I hadn't found it sooner, and by some equally lovely restaurateurs.

We ordered a platter of pita, gyro meat, and spreads, including a babaganoush and hummus (both delicious, the latter of which my wife thinks much tastier than commercial varieties), and a falafel wrap. I mentioned that I like falafel, and I've eaten some pretty tasty, as well as some pretty mediocre ones. I found these falafel to be crunchy on the outside, tender and moist on the inside, vivid green with the included herbs. The fries on the side were also surprisingly very fresh and worth eating, and this coming from someone that doesn't like fries that much.

Since our first time dining here, we've ordered out once, and will do both again in the future. Prices are reasonable, the food is fresh and delicious, and it's a local business. I'm so glad we...

Worst service ever owner aggressive, hostile and rude. Dined in with a friend ordered an appetizer and meal to share. Owner forgot to bring our drinks. Appetizer was cold. When entree came we were told they had no rice and substituted with mash potatoes ( tasted instant) and zucchini was freezer burned. When pointed out that fish was undercooked and not edible. The owner grabbed our plate and stated “it’s too much food for you” and stated he would bring another. When told it wasn’t too much food and reminded him we were sharing one dish and it wasn’t cooked he left with the plate. He sent another person out with our check who was visibly shaken and upset.
