I dream of these subs, my partner took my other half once and I’ve never felt such violence towards him, my first thought when I woke up that morning was my leftovers waiting patiently for me in the fridge. Total devastation and utter disappointment. absolutely the best spot in a 100 mile radius. I can’t eat pub subs or anything else since my standards have been risen ten fold, accidentally and wonderfully ruined every other sandwich place in the country. Amazing workers who’ve been there for years, and community and attention. Once I went and they couldn’t do my sub (a BLT) because they had sold out of bacon and I was quite literally holding back tears- my fault not theirs- happy to know they sell out and are constantly successful as chains tend to drown out wonderful local shops, but not this one, ever. get there fast and early on weekends!! Read moreI went on yelp to write a review regarding royal subs because 18 people at my work near by became violently ill after eating here last Saturday, 17th of December, and was validated by the other comments I noticed saying the same thing. Something has to be very wrong with the sanitation. I hate to knock down a small business with a review like this but that kind of level of sick means there has to be something very wrong. I don't know if someone sick made the subs or what but it was definitely them considering family members we brought the subs home to also were the only ones to get ill. I'd also like to say this is the first time we have ordered from here in like 6 years because there was a bug in my sandwich last time. I’ve had several sandwiches either missing ingredients or with added ingredients and never once complained or requested a replacement because their subs are genuinely tasty. However with that said, I’ll no longer be giving this establishment my business. They added jalapeños in place of black olive and as someone very sensitive to spice I was unable to eat my sandwich. Unfortunately it was not convenient for me to return that day for a replacement or a refund and the sandwich and my $10 went to waste. They refused to rectify THEIR mistake and I’m just in total disbelief of their refusal to accommodate in any way.
