I recently had the pleasure of discovering Sandbar Donuts, an exceptional food truck that delivered the most incredible donut experience imaginable. From the moment I approached the vibrant truck, I could sense that something extraordinary awaited me.

I was really frustrated with how long it took to get my donuts - a full hour. The stand was not at all busy when I arrived, I ordered a dozen donuts and an extended wait time was never mentioned. About 50 minutes into the wait we went to ask how much longer and they admitted that they had run out of dough. A few minutes later we saw someone arrive with a large bag of flour.

My advice would be to let a customer know as soon as you realize something like this has happened and offer a refund if they don't want to wait the estimated time. As I mentioned before, I was extremely frustrated but even with the extended wait time, my frustration could have been avoided if they'd attempted to manage expectations.

Unfortunately we got some cold donuts this go round but the owner contacted me through here and issued me a full refund for the experience, I can’t ask for anything more than that am am extremely impressed with that business practice, most businesses will not do that so I think that speak volumes for the owner to stand behind their product and business, would definitely give them another chance. Every has bad days sometimes but how they handle it means everything and I’ve read nothing but great reviews and that is why we gave them a shot to start with today.
