Scotty's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Florida

I'd give Scotty's more stars if I could! My family and I have been living in NPR/Port Richey for years now, and we're HUGE Pizza fanatics it's our Go-To meal when we're all unsure what we want to eat. We of course support local business ESPECIALLY for food because everyone knows the Mom&Pop shops are the best when it comes to food. For a long time now we've struggled to find the Perfect Pizza place, ever since our usual spot downtown closed we've tried a handful of different places that were closer to home. We thought we found our place (I won't drop names) in Hudson but we were sorely mistaken after a horrible experience (we were sat at a table and ignored for 30 minutes on a slow night).

Anyways, back in February we came to Scotty's for my sons birthday dinner, we came with a fairly large group and the awesome folks at Scotty's let us push two tables together without question, and even remade a dish after it was ordered incorrectly (it was completely on us and they took care of it anyway) so the first impression was amazing.

We did a carry out order a couple weeks later and as with the first time, the food and the service was top notch.

Fast Forward to last night (March 6th), the reason I am writing this, I got home after a long day at work and the missus said she had a long day too, neither one of us wanted to cook. Without any debate whatsoever we decided we're going to Scotty's! Wife called ahead of time to place the order for dine in which was a surprise to me because we typically just take the food home and watch a family movie, after telling the lady taking the order that we were dining in, she said "give us about 20 minutes and we'll have a table ready for you". After she hung up we both said "there's no way they’re about to have a whole table ready for us". Sure enough we get there basically 20 minutes on the spot, we walk in and sure enough there is a table with four cups and a rack for the pizza to sit on, not two minutes later a fresh pie and a dozen of Pasco County's BEST Garlic Knots was brought out for us. We were so grateful for everything we even cleaned up after ourselves afterwards because that's the least we could do. We knew we found our new Pizza Place after the first time we went, but our experience last night solidified it, Scotty's is our new home for Pizza.

I don't typically write reviews, but after the absolutely incredibly exceptionally PERFECT service every single time we've visited, especially last night, Scotty's deserves every single bit of recognition. Thank you to the Owner for running such a fine establishment, and thank you to the whole Crew for providing service that is unheard of in todays day and age.

5 for service and quantity, decided at the last minute to have a Halloween pizza party. Ordered delivery, one large pepperoni and one large chicken, the pepperoni was eaten right away so there is no pictures, both pizzas were loaded. I do have a picture of whats left of the chicken. This pizza was so good and smelled so good, the yard suddenly filled with cats. Me and 3 other neighbors ordered pizza and a 2 litter cola and sat around telling ghost stories all while protecting this tasty pizza from the cat invaders who seemed to be working in teams. When seeing how low the price was, I figured there would be less than a handful of toppings, OMGoodness, wait till you see the picture of how much they put on this thing. The delivery person was cheerful and very pleasant. I don't remember what the wait was but it was worth it. Couldn't have been much more than 30 minutes. This just might become my new Halloween tradition, if you can imagine talking about ghost, in a dim lit yard with cats circling around you like a pool full of hungry sharks. Every shadow you look at has the reflection of eyes and more are coming from all over the neighborhood. They sit and they stare till finely one has inched its way close to the pizza, it is just with in reach and at the same moment someone reaches for another piece not noticing the cat just at the edge of the box. The cat realizes its cover is blown and darts to the other side of the yard, all are startled but the activity cause by the amazing fresh smell of this pizza has stirred up other life forms. Suddenly a guest sees one of the treat bags move. We get up to investigate, a small frog has jumped into the bag. We chase it out and I started talking to it, it responded as if it understood me. I am not creeped out, not yet anyway. I think it is so cute , I keep talking to it. It looks me right in the eyes, then jumps on my arm. In my best scared little girl voice, I demanded someone get it off. OMG, OMG, OMG, it peed on me. Now I am grabbing my phone to check and see if its one of those frogs that have poison on its skin. I recently ordered a large half Hawaiian, half pepperoni and pineapple pizza along with some hot wings from Scotty's Pizzarea, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience.

Let's start with the pizza itself. The combination of flavors on the half Hawaiian and half pepperoni and pineapple was simply divine. The crust was perfectly cooked, with a delightful crunch on the outside and a soft, chewy texture on the inside. The generous toppings were fresh, and the balance between the savory pepperoni, sweet pineapple, and savory ham was spot on. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness, leaving me craving for more. The pizza truly exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't have asked for a better combination.

Moving on to the hot wings, they were an absolute delight. Not only were they huge in size, but they were also cooked to perfection. In addition to the outstanding food, I was highly impressed with the delivery service provided by Scotty's Pizzarea. The delivery was exceptionally quick, ensuring that the food arrived fresh and piping hot. The efficiency and promptness of the delivery added to the overall positive experience.

Overall, I cannot recommend Scotty's Pizzarea enough. Their pizza, particularly the half Hawaiian and half pepperoni and pineapple, was out of this world, delivering an explosion of flavors that left me in awe. The hot wings were equally delicious, with a generous size and a perfect balance of spices. Furthermore, the speedy delivery ensured that my food arrived promptly and in excellent condition.
