Slim Chickens — Restaurant in Florida

Typical year 2020 chicken Tenders BS. Same thing done by everyone else. At some point American Adults became obsessed with eating like their children, and with a six year old.. HERE WE ARE JUMPING on the I have zero taste in food bandwagon.

I will say this. These tenders are better (a lot better) then zaxbys, KFC, Magoos, and the HORRIBLE guy fierri ones. A lot better actually. Very crispy. GREASY, but not soaking in oil, Hot and well flavored. Kinda Salty. Which I'm OK with. But remeber, they are toddler food so do with this information what you will.

As for the chicken sandwich. On a positive (and only positive about it) they Do NOT use multiple tenders to make a sandwich. Instead what looks like a pounded flat TENDER. JUST 1 THOUGH. It's nowhere on any list of best or even decent chicken sandwiches that I've had. Tiny portion suffocated in bread. Pass on this unless you want to be disappointed or have had gastric bypass surgury.

French fries are TOP NOTCH. These rank highly. Easily the best fries of the chicken tender resturants and certainly high up on the fast food chain resturant list. I'm not every driving for fries, but if there was a ChicAFilA next door, and I'm on the fence, I'm probaly going here first for some tenders and fries for energy then waiting in line for a decent chicken sandwich next door.

The sauces.... Slim sauce is rehashed PDQ and the pepper sauces all taste identical. Sauces are good but nothing special. On the tender chain scale, they are high up. On the adult pallat they really arnt very good.

On a good note.... MOSCHELLA'S Italian market is accross the street for the best italian pastries in the entire region.

Worst experience ever. I went through the drive thru and after waiting for a few vehicles in front of me I ordered a club chicken sandwich and medium coke. Once I got the sandwich and the coke I pulled into a parking spot to eat my sandwich.I noticed there was no sandwich.I had a french fry and a coke. No club chicken sandwich. I went on foot back inside the restaurant and gave my receipt and the french fries to a young man at the counter and explained to him the issue. You would think he would look at the receipt and see that I had a chicken club sandwich. He did not and the next sandwich I got was plain chicken sandwich, which I realized when I got back in my truck. I went back inside a second time and ask for my money back. I got absolutely no professionalism. No courtesy, no apologies at all. A group of younger people working laughed it off and acted like it was no big deal. After speaking to the shift manager. Who was also a younger gentleman. He acted like he just did not care. I could not tell you if the food was any good cause. I didn't eat any. My Coca-Cola tastes great. But my belly is still empty as I move through my workday. I'll find somewhere else to get a Chicken Sandwich. I will never go to this company ever again. The professionalism is terrible and obviously, management has not done a good job on training and setting a standard with the younger workforce. I had great hope for this place. First time I went it was the best chicken I ever had and I was looking forward to a second experience. I told my whole family how good it was and raved about it I am one who thinks Chic Fila chicken stinks but where Chic Fila does succeed in customer service Slim Chickens at this location fails. It is so bad that it seems intentional on the part of the young people working there and negligent on the part of whatever managers are in charge. I gave it about 4 chances because the food was so fresh and tasty but every time the drive thru experience was the same, horrible. They literally ignore you at the drive thru and don't answer or greet you. Again I gave this about 4 tries to see if this was some bad luck or due to being busy but I purposely came when it was empty or only a few cars because I at first attributed the long delays service to one offs, but every time it was the same. It is so bad that I probably will never go back because a company or team that is so negligent doesn't deserve to be rewarded with business when it allows the young people to neglect or despise customers. The food also went downhill a little bit which I guess is to be expected when you have no standards...
