If I could give this location ZERO stars I would!!! I go with my daughters to smoothie king at least 4-6 times a week and I have NEVER had such horrible customer service. The cashier “Danny” has such a bad attitude and took my order wrong. I order a Strawberry peanut power plus and he placed chocolate into the system. When I left and tasted the smoothie i noticed it was chocolate so I returned turned around and entered back into the location. The other associate who I believe was “Ryan” was nice and asked me if everything was ok. I stated that the wrong flavor was made due to me ordering strawberry but given chocolate. That’s when “Danny” yells “you ordered chocolate”. I told him that I would never do that due to me being allergic. He then continued to state that I did order chocolate and argue with me. That’s when Ryan jumped in and said he will make the strawberry I originally ordered. I’ve been in retail management for over 15 years and trust me when I say that I would terminate an employee with that type of attitude in a heartbeat. Doesn’t belong in customer facing jobs. Needs to go and I will definitely stop going to smoothie king after this experience. Makes me want to just make my own smoothies at home. Read moreI have NEVER experienced horrible service like I did at this location. I ordered a peanut power plus with strawberry and it tasted like nothing. Like absolute nothing. So I brought it to the attention of the team member Paula Bustamante and asked if it could be remade or at the very least refunded and she said “No I can’t. It’s not my fault, I followed the recipe.” I’ve ordered this multiple times and have never had an issue. I assume everyone follows the same recipe, so what happened here? I asked again if it’s possible to remake it because it literally tasted like lightly flavored water and she said no. When I asked to speak to the manager she said to call. When I asked for her name she refused to tell me. I only found out her name because she had to tell a delivery guy who walked in while all of this was unfolding. I’m appalled with how this situation was handled. I paid for a smoothie that I ended up leaving at the store because it was horrible. And this employee was so careless and just kept saying “I don’t know what to tell you, I followed the recipe.” I’ve never experienced something like this. I came in on cyber Monday to pick up a go goji crunch that i had ordered online and thats when two employees, Jade and Mercedes inform me that they are a private business so they can close whenever they want. Lying, because the manager later confirmed smoothie bowls are open till closing. They first told me i couldn’t get a refund to which i replied that i had been to another smoothie king prior and they had given me a refund. They didn’t have $12 in their register so they took down my information and said they would pass it on to their manager. A days go by and i have yet to receive a refund. So i contact the store and ask for the managers number. After several back and forth texts with the manager, it’s been 5 days and not only has he stopped answering, but i have yet to receive my refund. Super unprofessional staff and manager. Im a regular at smoothie king and he also owns the one in Miami Lakes to which his employees confessed that he keeps their tips and when i called the rest of the stores he owns they said the same thing.
