I have epilepsy and am currently in the process of transferring doctors and I keep running out of my prescriptions and having seizures because the medical industry here is not considering this an emergency and has refused to help me. I had to spend $70 for 2 weeks of Keppra and I still had a seizure from lapses in dosage.
I began drinking alcohol heavily again because I was terrified every night that I would have a seizure and not wake up because I ran out of my Keppra. I stopped by a Kava bar (not this one) around Largo and I tried their products. It seemed to work somewhat, but the dosages seemed a bit weak for me.
I have ordered from Speakeasy Kava twice from Uber eats and both times have been very happy with portions, dosages, and feelings.
I had tried the red kratom tea with a shot of CBD and they handled a mistake I made through the online system very politely and professionally (I will not give details, but it was really cool of them because it was not their fault.)
I just ordered all 3 kava drinks. I have drink the body kava so far and it is great! I woke up and had to break a seizure pill in half cuz I have 1 left. I felt my heart pounding through my chest and looked at the half full bottle of wine and just couldn’t bring my self to drink it. I ordered these 3 kava drinks (each doubles) and after drinking the whole body kava drink my heart stopped pounding and I stopped twitching and feeling seizure auras almost immediately.
I am not saying this is for every one that has epilepsy and/or has suffered from alcohol addiction/withdrawal; but kava is really working for me and I plan to continue using it.
Kratom I do think epileptics should be more careful with because of stimulation; but I also believe that with sipping on the teas infused with CBD you can slowly see how it effects your body as opposed to extracts or large doses of powder all at once. I took the kava like a shot and sipped my red kratom tea with CBD over like 3 hours and I felt okay and was able to sleep fine with no seizures.
As for alcoholics and/or opiate addicts that don’t have seizures that want to get clean, but want something natural to help I highly recommend kratom!
As soon as the doctors finally write me a real script and I feel okay going out again I will be hanging out here. I can already tell from the pics and theme I...
Read moreI'm not out to hurt anyone's business so I am giving this a my actual rating for the business. Not an over the top emotional 1 star like some people. In actuality though this is a very hateful environment. Its awkward and upsetting when your dealing with someone and you can just feel the the over-load of hate. Its tense, awkward and it feels vey hostile. One event in mind: This person straight up stopped speaking. I say "Thank You" , and in return i get a hateful stare , I thought maybe she didn't hear me, repeated it, same hateful grin, but now enhanced. She Literally will not use words anymore. I had major surgery from a car accident and their kratom was the one of best options I could find for short term pain relief. I refuse to use prescription pain killers , but I feel like i cant go there anymore, because of just the sheer hatred for me. Its a horrible feeling dealing with someone genuinely actually hates you. As a response, the owner will probably say we don't need you anyways, and they don't. But to loose a customer simply over a bartenders hateful behavior?? I own a business myself and I would be very upset if I lost a regular customer because of my employees hateful behavior. Its genuinely upsetting when this persons hateful behavior is directed at me. I though based on the companies loud out-spoken views, that it would be a safe space. Turns out , very un-welcoming.
I think employees forget their job is essentially is to generate business , not loose business

Read moreThe tea is good but, good luck trying to find a seat at the bar. The bar is basically reserved for the employees. There is 3+ employees taking up space at the bar at any given time even when they know you have nowhere to sit. Seems very unprofessional. I don't know how this bar will last if most of the people at the bar are thier employees who already drink for free and thier boyfriends/girlfriends who also go behind the bar and help themselves to drinks. Seem like a great place to hangout if you work there too. I've left multiple times after only buying one drink because there is no available seating while the majority of the bar is just the employees hangout for when thier off the clock. I'd probably stay longer and buy more drinks if that was not an issue. Not a very good business strategy... Most places don't let thier employees hangout at the bar because the bar is obviously...
