Sunshine bakery is a wholesale bakery with limited public hours. Get there early, very early, or call ahead for your order because these delicious donuts will sell fast.

Don't plan on sitting inside the bakery enjoying a cup of hot coffee with your donut because, once again, this is a wholesale bakery. There is no indoor dining.

All of the donuts are very tasty. However, I did order some Boston Cream Donuts, which, by the way, are my favorite, but the chocolate frosting on top was hard like chocolate crackle. I took one bite, and the whole chocolate topping shattered and fell off the donut. How bizarre and disappointing to see my beloved Boston Cream donut completely naked and uncovered.

Still, aside from that, I'll be back, and I'll try another Boston Cream. Hopefully, this first Boston Cream experience was an anomaly.

I loved the sourcream glazed donut, the coconut glazed donut, lemon filled, blueberry glazed, and the apple fritter.

All of the chocolate donut types were just ok, definitely not chocolate tasting enough for me.

Prepare to pay about $8 for a half-dozen and $15 for a full dozen.

Best donuts I’ve ever had. Dangerously good. Cash only business so bring cash.

I saw reviews that said get there early because they sell out but the real trick is to call the day ahead and make sure she has what you want!!! Wanted cheese danishes but were all sold out even though we got there when they opened at 6:30 am because most people call the day before and order ahead. They bake everything the night before and what they have is what they have the following morning.

It’s our last day in the area coming from VA and we wish we could have had time to come back for more. Sooo good and so fresh tasting!
