Starbucks — Restaurant in Florida

My wife and I stopped in to have a couple of coffee's around 7:00 pm. We hadn't been in to this location in a number of years. We remembered it used to be a pretty nice spot, but I wouldn't say that now. Staff were okay. Not especially friendly or engaging, but certainly not rude. They just didn't appear to have much of an interest in what they were doing. I would call it "just going through the motions". I thought the young man serving us could have been more helpful explaining drink options. He clearly didn't pick up on the fact we weren't regular Starbucks customers. The fact we were asking about types and sizes of drinks should have clued him in.

The place needed to be cleaned. Both lounge chairs and tables needed to be wiped down, and the floors weren't swept to pick up the garbage.

There were no sugar packets, creamer, milk, etc. at the counter or self-serve area.

In our opinion the outside area was unusable. Three homeless people had set up camp and had all their belongings around two of the tables. At least one was smoking, which is obviously allowed, but as non-smokers we don't want to smell it.

I added an order of coffees and a couple of cake pops to my Target drive up order today as a special treat for myself and my family who has been knocked down all week by some terrible cold virus. My two toddler girls were so excited to get their cake pops but I realized when we parked for our pick up that one flavor of cake pop had been canceled, I assume because they must have run out. As a sick and exhausted mama I was bummed but quickly decided I would drive to Elianos for a replacement cake pop to avoid having to unload the sick kids and go into Target to choose a different flavor. I checked my Starbucks bag when we were almost at Elianos and was so pleasantly surprised to see a note attached to the cake pop bag saying they were sorry they were out of the birthday cake flavor but they had added a second cookies n creme cake pop free of charge! They never get my order right went in last week and got a carmel frap with an extra shot of espresso and it didnt have it . I paid extra for the shot n never received it. When I told them they argued with me about it. Very bad customer service plus I had to wait 10 mins for my drink with no line for the Inside of the store.
