April 16, 2024, I wash Dashing (for DoorDash) and approached a barista who was at the cash register. I let them know that I was waiting on a specific order (and provided the name). This Barista searches through a bag and pulls out 5 items (similar to what was stated in the online order). They tell me to wait a minute (so I assume they just need to make the drink). I wait for 10-15 minutes, until I approach another Barista (Bella) who picks up the same bag from before, pulls out the items, before returning them to the bag and stapling it shut. Unfortunately, the Barista’s packed 5 pastries with a drink, in their smallest bag. The contents of the beverage are now all over my car’s floor. Much to my dismay, I still have to deliver this nightmare to the customer. Coincidentally, I receive another order to pick up from the same location (an hour later). I, now, waited another 10-15 minutes for a Barista to acknowledge that I was waiting at the register. The only person who approached or assisted me was Bella and she was very friendly. Everyone else stared at me waiting and didn't even greet nor disclose that someone would be assisting me shortly. I understand establishments get busy, and I truly hate to complain, but the service at this location is embarrassingly awful. There are already 2 Starbucks locations less than 2 minutes away, who would be HAPPY to take the business. Sidenote, if you’re going to put drinks in a bag, it might be smart to include a drink holder.. instead of cramming it into a bag full of...
Read moreI wasn't feeling well so I decided to stop into Starbucks and see if they had a tea that would make me feel a little better. The girl at the register seemed not interested in helping as i asked if they had a tea that has lemon, ginger and honey. She pretty much just said no and wanted my transaction to be finished. I browsed the menu and noticed a different selection of teas and inquired about those. Roman happened to be by the register and this point and overheard me say I wasn't feeling well. He asked what was wrong and I told him my throat hurts. He said "ill make you a medicine bomb". He seemed so confident in his response I said "that sounds great". After he was done making it, he described what was in it and wished me to get well and that I hoped I liked the tea. Roman, thank you. You made me feel better and I hadn't sipped your tea yet. This experience was not only genuine, it was 100%...
Read moreI happened to be down in this area, not a store I'm usually in. Like others, had to wait way past the estimated time for no apparent reason. The app said the drink would be ready at a certain time. I get that things can happen that cause a small delay. However, 15 minutes after the estimated wait time, I'm asking if they have my drink and they're like "yes." But--no. Then finally one person asked what I'm waiting for, and then they scrolled through their screen and were like...oh. Then they started to make it. It was clear they just forgot about it. Plenty of people who came in after me and ordered were long in and out before me. Additionally, my drink had sugar packets. Because I was standing there when it was finally made, I watched them take the wrong number of packets to start, then sloppily open them so that half of the sugar...
