Sushi Yama has been opened for a week. My husband and I visited this Sunday. I ordered the seafood noodles and requested that no muscles and shrimp be added, but if possible to supplement with one or two more scallops and more vegetables. I also requested Ginger and garlic to be added repeatedly. Our poor waitress came back five times apologizing profusely because the manager refused to come to the table And they refused to add a few more vegetables or another one or two scallops even though I said I am willing to pay extra for them! Instead, It was suggested that I order a side of vegetables for $15 to add to my plate with no garlic or ginger. The server stated that they have no garlic only garlic powder at which point I said please get me some garlic powder. She also finally got a few ginger shavings for me to add To my plate that was sitting there for over 30 minutes With barely a few diced scallops scattered around and hardly any vegetables and imitation crab meat and noodles. After five attempts, she said to me, no one in the kitchen understands English!!! I requested to see a manager, but she said they canât come. Theyâre too busy. This manager needs to be fired right away for their lack of professionalism and Attention to the guests They have great potential a beautiful atmosphere lovely decor, and wonderful wonderful servers. My husbandâs hibachi shrimp and scallop...
Read moreThe restaurant itself is beautiful, very well designed and clean. However, customer service was HORRIBLE!!! Our waitress didnât even introduce herself, me and my husband were a bit lose as we are used to going to Sushi Yama over in PGA and thought it was the same â we asked our waitress several times about the menu as it said âall you can eatâ and we really just wanted the regular menu. We expressed how it was our first time ever there and we didnât know about the menu and she literally just stand there staring at us. I had to keep reminding her of things she forgot and practically forced the information out of her. Not to mention the one and only time she checked on us afteer I had to even asked for our water to be refilled and asked for a sprite for the 2nd time she addressed us as âyaaaa goooodâ which to me was so unprofessional and not well manners.
My husbandâs rainbow roll came with no ginger nor flower how it appears in everyoneâs elseâs reviews here, not to mention the rolls kept falling apart. The miso soup â not great!
For me the fried rice with chicken was NOT it, the chicken somehow didnât taste like chicken, it was slimy and like a gummy flavor đŁ.. I think they can do...
Read moreFirst, I will say that both my daughter and I had high hopes for this place. Although the food was great, the service was very disorganized. To clarify, my waitress was excellent and did a wonderful job with the time she had. My complaint is with the hostess.
Upon arriving I was greeted and given a buzzer. At that time I was told it would be a 30-35 minute wait, it was not. I waited and watched people that had come after me get seated. When I walked in to inquire why, the young lady didnât apologize and refused to explain. I waited another 5 minutes and walked back in only to have another take the buzzer and have me wait promising I was next after I had watched another couple be seated that came after me. I wasnât seated, she left without telling the gentleman that took her place and I had to ask again that I be seated and this time she seated me without even a kind gesture.
I didnât sit until 9:20 pm, only to be told the restaurant closed at 10 so I had to hurry and order everything I could think of or I would not be able to get anything else. I only stayed because my little girl really wanted to and I did not want to disappoint her but it was a complete...
