I always get the same drink every single day and the red head bearded male refused to make it. They didn't know the difference between frappe base and frappe roast. They insisted on claiming that the frappe roast is the same as the frappe base. They would not even ask a coworker or their manager to even verify this. Very unprofessional and never experienced such rude behavior.
Here is a breakdown:
Frappe Roast:
Purpose: Provides the coffee flavor in coffee-based Frappuccinos.
Ingredients: It's a blend of instant coffee, like Italian Roast and Espresso Roast, designed for cold beverages.
Texture: It helps create a smoother, more consistent texture in the drink.
Caffeine: It contains caffeine, as it's a coffee-based product.
Flavor: It adds a coffee taste, which can vary from a mild coffee flavor in the coffee base to a more intense coffee taste when added to other Frappuccinos like the Mocha Frappuccino.
Usage: Used in Frappuccinos that have a coffee flavor, like the Coffee Frappuccino and Mocha Frappuccino.
Frappe Base (Crème Base):
Purpose: Provides the creamy texture and sweetness in all Frappuccinos (both coffee and non-coffee).
Ingredients: It's a flavored syrup that includes sugar, xanthan gum (for emulsification), and other ingredients to create a smooth texture and sweet taste.
Texture: It helps prevent ice separation and creates a smooth, blended consistency. Caffeine: It does not contain caffeine.
Flavor: It has a sweet flavor, but the specific flavor can vary depending on the Frappuccino.
Usage: Used in all Frappuccinos, including those without coffee, like the Vanilla Bean Frappuccino and Strawberry Frappuccino.
Frappe base (crème base) and Frappe Roast are both used in Frappuccinos, but they serve different purposes and have distinct characteristics.
Frappe Roast is an instant coffee blend used to provide the coffee flavor in coffee-based Frappuccinos, while the crème base is a flavored syrup that adds sweetness and texture to both coffee and non-coffee Frappuccinos.
No, I will not contact said email or call a phone number. You need real people reading these reviews and taking appropriate action. I would understand if he was new and just didn't know and he needed to go ask a coworker or his manager to clarify this issue. But, he flat out just got very rude and raised his voice. I have never had an issue ordering my drink anywhere else. Unfortunately, your employees represent your store and I don't like confrontation at all. I simply just wanted to enjoy my drink and go...
Read moreI come in on Christmas Day at 12:15 and I don't know who that dark skinned kid is behind the bar who is totally anti social but I came in trying to get my drink remade cause it tasted like flavored water and I didn't pay 6 bucks for flavored water but I paid for coffee, an iced latte that is supposed to taste like flavored coffee and not flavored water, but the kid despite my expressing dissatisfaction stands there looking at me and didn't offer to remake it only added shots on top and charged me and needless to say I threw the coffee out as soon as I walked out. The manager is not very intelligent obviously, TOO MANY people are unemployed for him or her to be hiring these antisocial kids who have no idea how to treat a customer who just spent more than 6 bucks on a coffee they didn't drink. What's worse is he began to gossip about me to his coworker, as I'm sure he wasn't saying good things about me, all I know is I was being criticized snd judged and possibly cursed for wanting to have my coffee remade. Great job manager! You really know how to hire people.. Never stepping foot here again, but it's not just myself that I come get coffee for but my entire company sends me to pick up coffee for them wherever I go (because they know I only drink quality coffee), and Dunkin Donuts it is from now on because they at least remake everything that's not done right. And if they hire young people it's always social optimistic type not a guy who makes it obvious that I am so problematic for not wanting to waste 6 bucks. I mean if they remade it 3 times and I didn't like it I can then see the criticism. But not in this context. No.
I never complained about waiting 20 minutes in the drivethrough because it's Christmas, so that was called for and expected, I was happy to see them open to begin with and the long waiting time I repeat, was expected on Christmas. Having to throw away my coffee?...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if that was available. I had a mis-made drink from another Starbucks that I didn't find out until I was miles away. When I walked to this Starbucks near my place of employment, the inside area is apparently closed? I don't usually buy from this store so was unaware. Anyway, I knocked on the door to try to get an employee to come so I could explain and get my drink taken care of. No one came after several knocks so I popped over the the drive thru to try to get this taken care of. Two employees acted like they would remake it and then another employee came out and told me I can't be in the driveway without a car. I get that and would have gladly gone to the door to receive my new drink but she also refused to do so. She wanted me to go get my car and get in the very long line of cars. I have a chronic fatigue disease and my car is all the way across the parking lot, and with my keys even further away at my work. I felt I didn't have the time before work due to the very long line and the prospect of wasting my (very jealousy guarded) energy I have to save for my job She refused to work with me and I got very mad, I admit, but I just don't see how it was a big deal to through my drink in the line and get it done. Any other time this has happened and I've had to return a drink, the employees in those cases always came through without making with the line or myself wait unduly. In this case, we held up the line of cars because this employee absolutely refused to help me out. So I'm out a drink and out my money and about out of energy with dealing with this. I admit, I made a scene, but it didn't have to happen if the person would have just remade the drink I would have moved out of the drive thru and had it handed it to at the front door. I seriously hate to have gone nutty customer but I'm totally floored by how I was treated by...
