VERY uptight, unwelcoming place on this day . If an employee or manager is having a rough day, then just stay home. Don’t take it out on the customer!!
I decided to try them out since they’re equidistant to the one I usually use about 3 x a week.
I walked 2-3 feet up from my seat while eating to share a detail about my drink order that was being repaired. I wasn’t even walking all the way up. After all, I was still eating.
Manager(?) literally moved *toward me to bark at me, jumped all over me about needing my mask first. That’s fine, I understand that, but be kind, will you? If you were afraid, then why are you moving toward me?
When people are juggling eating, while trying to get their initial order fixed, wishing they could have a simple meal, sometimes they forget about the mask. A little kindness, a gentle word would do.
Next she was freaking out (understatement) AGAIN when I took my mask off AS I was sitting down to eat. She did that while she’s initially at least 25 feet away from me before she moved toward me to bark.
That was not the peaceful visit I was hoping for. Only two other customers, also eating and much farther away from my table.
Mind you , it was AS I was sitting down.
There was not a single kind or welcoming word said to me by this lady, even when she came over to clean the station which was right next to me, much closer than before, while I was eating with my mask off.
The only person that was decent and polite, welcoming was the man.
I try to get more whip and topping because the drink was so hot that it immediately all melted in. So there was none to enjoy. I’m told by the other female server that I am supposed to be charged an extra $1 or .50 (next tome) **after I already paid extra $ for that in the app.
What is the point of even saying that to me when you’re not even trying to charge me now? I deducted that she was responding that way because of operating under the stressful environment with the...
Read moreFix your systems before you tell me I have no money on my card. I want my money back as there's still 7.84 on my card AS OF NOW. I'm unhappy. Update: I came to leave a bad review and it turns out I already did. This one’s a doozy. I would recommend to everyone to avoid Starbucks at all costs, especially this location. The store has been going way downhill since Krystal passed away and then since Steve left. Ordering a drink is like gambling at the casino except the odds of getting something you can actually consume are approximately zero. They same drinks are different every time. The employees are rude beyond measure to the point that it took me 2 weeks after the final incident to post this review because I am terrified of retaliation which is very common from Starbucks employees. Some of the things I have seen posted online by Starbucks employees from all different locations are nothing short of psychopathic violence. The last time I went, I left crying at the comments the employee was making to me and I also left with an 8 dollar drink that was undrinkable. I would be a little more understanding if I ordered in person more often but most of the time I mobile order. It is written down in front of you. I pay a dollar and twenty five cents extra for cold foam and your employees are upset with me for politely requesting that they add what I paid for because they forgot. Every time they make an awful comment to me or screw up my order, I am the one apologizing profusely. Not to mention. I had an extra 20 minutes to get something to drink before work, 2 or 3 cars ahead of me in the drive through. You’d think you could make it through there in 20 minutes but no, that’s never the case. One of the worst establishments I have ever had the displeasure...
Read moreAs I placed my usual Starbucks order of an iced quad espresso with extra coconut milk in a venti cup, anxiety overwhelmed me of the dreaded cup not filled to the top. If my cup is not filled to the top, I politely ask if it can be filled to the top. Once, I contacted customer service via the app (I exclusively order via the app) and they informed me if the drink isn’t to the customer’s liking, the barista can remake it, add extra milk, or whatever you have already paid for. This is great news! My anxiety of asking for more milk is no more!
Until today… Emileigh at the Ridgemoor and East Lake Road Starbucks displayed atrocious customer service by stating “I must charge you for a latte if you want extra milk.” I politely informed her of what the customer service agent informed me via the app’s customer service chat. Emileigh stood her ground saying the Starbuck’s customer service chat is wrong and that next time we will charge more. I politely reiterated what the Starbuck’s customer service said to me, but she kept on arguing to charge me more. I told Emileigh that if there is refusal of no extra milk, I will contact the Starbuck’s customer support, get a refund, and will be told to inform the barista if the drink isn’t to the customer’s liking, the barista can remake it, add extra milk, or whatever you have already paid for.
All in all, Emileigh made sure my family and I will not be returning to the Starbucks at Ridgemoor and...
