Stela's Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Florida

I tried breakfast for the first time here and was extremely disappointed with the service and quality of the food. I ordered a breakfast special which was supposed to come with two sides, and I asked for whole wheat toast with no butter. When it came time to order the coffee, which was included in the special, I requested it with oat milk. The server told me that they only had a small amount of old oat milk left and that she would have to charge me extra for it. Despite telling me that the oat milk was old, she began to make my coffee with it anyway. I told her that if there was not enough fresh oat milk and she was going to charge me extra regardless, to please change it to almond milk. When I went to pay, the cashier noticed that I only received one side with my order and instructed the server to give me the second side. The server’s demeanor was incredibly sour, and she reluctantly served me with an attitude. Upon returning to my office to eat my breakfast, I discovered that my toast was white bread slathered in butter, despite my explicit request for whole wheat toast with no butter. I even asked the server to confirm it was whole wheat when I was placing the order. This experience was dreadful. It's a prime example of how a lack of politeness and attention to detail can severely damage the reputation of an establishment. I will never return...

What a horrible experience 😞 I've been to this location a few times and service is okay. But after today, I will not be back. I arrived at 11:45 right before the crazy 12:00 lunch rush that the usually get and placed an order for my salad and waited at the table. The lunch rush started and about 4 people ordered salad as well and received it and I was still waiting. I asked the cashier at 12:15 if they had an order for me and the lady making the salad waved it and began making other orders after I explained calmly I had been waiting for 30 minutes. Another salad order came out and then when it was time to make mine I'm not sure if she was just being spiteful but my salad took another 10 minutes to come out. After everything and I finally got my salad I paid and walked away only to find that my card was charged $2 more then the order so I'm assuming the cashier tipped herself because I didn't hit the no reviept option on the screen. This review is about the new Stela's location in Aventura. While the owner was here for the first 2 weeks everything was spectacular. Now, the customer service couldn't be worse. A lot of attitude to customers. The food is no longer the same. ei. I order a Cuban sandwich and twice the did it in a Media Noche bread instead of Cuban bread.
