I had the opportunity to visit Locos X Grill in Doral twice thus far, and I want to share my wonderful experience. I started my first visit with the Lomwa, an exquisite piece of USDA Prime tenderloin. The flavor and texture of the meat sealed in the coals and finished with rosemary garlic butter, were simply divine. Tenderly cooked and juicy, each bit melted in your mouth. The truffle gratin mashed potatoes that accompanied the dish were the perfect complement, adding a smooth creaminess that balanced the strong flavors of the meat. On my second visit, I tried the Cartoccio Padrote. The parppardelles were perfectly cooked and blended harmoniously with the Portobello-Porcini cream. The Grana Padano cheese added just the right touch of savory flavor, while the 8-hour slow-cooked ribs provided an unforgettable tender texture. Each bite was a flavor journey. In addition to the food, the customer service was excellent, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Locos X Grill in Doral offers a fusion of Chinese and Venezuelan flavors that you cannot miss. I highly recommend this place and give it 5 stars for great quality and service.

Came for dinner a Saturday about to be 7pm. Place was not full at that time so we didn’t have to wait to be seated. The server was fast and friendly, since there was a few minutes before 7 he Offer to take our drink order so we could take advantage of the happy hour prices which was very nice of him. I had a small cruzado to start and it was the best I ever had, it was filled with meats and the broth was rich and flavorful. Now the mix meat plate for 2 was expensive and a little disappointing, the Picanha was rare when we ask for it to be medium well and everything else on the plate was ok. The fried rice was really good tho. Now when the bill come it has a 18% tip included that goes to the shared “bucket” and on top of that the server ask if we wanted to add an additional tip that does to him. Now if you read the menu you see that information but most people don’t see it on time. Also we had great service so we didn’t have a problem giving the tip. But I can how can it be frustrating for someone if they have a bad experience. Overall I would be back for that delicious cruzado. And to try new things.

Out of the gate I was surprised and not in a good way. I called ahead of time that to make a reservation and was told I had to pay $20 per person to reserve. Huh? It was going to be 5 of us so that would have been $100 that would have been charged and the credited back when we arrived but we all know how banks work so I would have been out that money until sometime the week. Luckily there were plenty of tables available when we got there. It was a family dinner to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and had said this to our waiter when we arrived. The food was good, not great. The Chinese Ribs were actually better than the “picahna” that was closer to well done than medium well. We ordered a family dinner for 6 @ $187 and double downed on the rice because who likes coleslaw? The portions are insane so we brought home like 6 containers. The music was about club level so you can imagine how great it is to have a conversation. When we asked if it could be lowered we were told we got seated far from the speakers because the manager had decided to raise the volume more. Table placement needs to be looked at as I had to squeeze my seat closer to the table to allow servers deliver orders to the table behind me twice. There were a couple of other tables with birthdays and I was wondering when it was going to be our turn. It didn’t. The main reason for going never happened because our server forgot and after I had already asked for the tab from another server he came back asking if we wanted desserts. I said no thank you, you forgot about my daughter’s birthday. He bs’ed an excuse that they do this after dessert orders are taken. That’s great if you let your customer know before hand but we know it’s not true. So a close to $300 (nearly hidden18% tip) pretty good birthday dinner with no fanfare earns this spot two stars and likely my family not making the drive from the Redlands back to Doral. Edit: Anyone who is interested in Owner feedback don’t bother wasting your time scrolling. One liners and stupid emotes seem to be his MO.

We came for lunch and we asked for the 9.99 lunch special when we went to pay my total did not add up to what I had calculated so I look at the receipt and see that I was not informed that the so called lunch special was not 9.99 so they added extra to the amount that I was told it would be I will post the receipt in a picture. I was charged $1.51 extra for the meat I had chosen I was not informed that chosen that meat would cost me $1.51 extra for each bowl we ordered and also $2.50 extra for choosing the fried rice instead of white, again I was not informed the price would be more for that. To many it might not be a big difficult when u come with a budget and are planning on spent a certain amount for your lunch it's not what I was expecting to see on my bill. I think if your asking for the special is 9.99 and you ask what comes with this special and they tell you what you can choose from they can asko inform you that the price changes for whatever reason. Food was ok but not great also. Will not be returning here. I was expecting to pay between 50 and 60 dollars for our lunch. Oh and the pork belly crunch that was my mistake for not asking the price but way to expensive for that!

The location of the restaurant is very convenient since it is close to the exif of the Palmetto Expressway, therefore, easy to find. The decor is clean allowing you to feel comfortable and the customer service was very good. Unfortunately, the management never approached the table to check on the quality of service or to introduce themselves. Regarding the food, I must confess that it was great on taste, no complaints at all regarding any portion of the actual meal. The reason the restaurant will not get all 5 stars, nor another visit is due to the wait time to get the meal. Regrettably, the main dish arrived before the appetizers, we were never offered nor given water and when we did get the appetizers, the size compared to the price is a bit off, meaning the size of the items for what you pay (as stated before the main dish was great, so this portion of the review does not affect the main dish). The environment is not one for family dinner, but rather one for a date or business. Be aware: they automatically include a service charge of 18% and do not tell you about it as they charge you and also ask for a tip that defaults again to 18%.

I usually don’t do this bad reviews but this restaurant DESERVES IT. I came with my wife and kid. Attention by Barbara was regular, not awful but not good either. My 2 year old was a little annoyed like every baby that sits in a restaurant or airplane and spilled his juice as accident, since here I knew everything is wrong with restaurant. People came to clean and we said I’m sorry and we received an awful look like saying stupid. 2- food was awful. The only good thing was the rice and the appetizer arepas. Chicken burned, meat dry, ribs no taste. Super Disappointed since they give a crazy instagram ad to make everything look super tasty. 3- SUPER MEGA IVERPRICED. Tip was included. We paid 200$ in a 2 person parrilla, 3 juices, chicken tenders and a coffee. I been to other GREAT meat restaurants and is not even half of this place. All I can say is. First and last time I eat here. Hope everyone gets a better attention and better food. I can’t talk for everyone but my experience here was awful. Oh and please hire people with a little more charisma.
