I love the girls that work there. They're very polite. Only drawback is that they limit now the roast beef that they put on the sandwich. If we hadn't been watching and armed for double meat, it would've been basically 2 1/2 slices on a 12 inch sandwich.
**Edited 12/26/18 Went in there tonight expecting, like usual to drop $50 OR MORE as we ALWAYS order 7 subs or more. Everything was fine during preparation of our subs in the first stages. Denise was a doll, and got our sub orders and prepped. I got to the checkout and the other woman working was at the register. She rang us up with no issues, I used my coupon for a $5.99 sub and scanned my card for the points. Total of our order was $51.68. I took money out of my front pocket, and realized I didnt have enough with what I had there.. so reached in another. The cashier saw the $100 in my pile and said "We dont take $100 Bill's." Well, good thing I wasnt going to try to break it anyway. I ignored the remark, still looking through my money for another $20. She saw the $50 below the $100 and as nasty as could be says "We dont take a $50 either! I dont have enough change." By this time, I'd had enough of her attitude and told her that there was no reason to have an attitude simply because I was trying to get her paid. Second, my order was $51.68. She would've been given $52 (had she taken the $50) so the change would've been the same as she gave me when I gave her two 20s, a 10 and 2 ones. After I told her that there was no reason to give attitude, I continue to get nasty remarks about how "it wasnt HER problem; it was their policy". When I said Fine, I will contact the manager since you cant drop the nasty attitude.. her response was "I'll give you his number... and my name is Brooke." My husband finally got our last 2 subs, and we get ready to finally leave and we get a nasty laugh and snide have a nice day.
I would've left without my subs had it not been for the fact that my family had been out all day and they couldn't wait any longer to eat. (Insert whiney 6 year old here with tears in her eyes crying because she is SOOOOO hungry) For someone who drops that much at a SUB SHOP each and every time we go in there... to be treated like dirt at the whim of waitstaff, is completely uncalled for.
This is quite honestly only the 2nd time I have ever had an issue here, and I'm there quite regularly. This was the first time I had seen this woman working there, and truly hope it to be the last. If she is working when I go in, I WONT be...
Read moreI've gone to this Subway for years, never had a problem EVER. Well, today me & my boyfriend went in to get subs. I asked NICELY, since we wanted the same meat & cheese and because my boyfriend eats his sandwiches plain, if we could pay for it as a footlong instead of 2 6 inches to save a couple bucks. I work in food service, so I know there's just some things you CANT do. This is why I asked, she did it but gave me UNREAL attitude about it. I was nice, courteous, and even though the girl looked my age I was calling her ma'am. So why am I getting attitude when I'm showing the up most respect something I know these food service workers don't see often? We get our food, after the next attitude ridden lady rings us up saying every word in a whiney annoying tone.. We sit down and eat, I work food service so I just tell myself they're having a bad day and I've been there. Until, I watch & hear them be as rude as they can to EVERY customer that came in while we were eating. Even YELLED at a elderly woman who was unsure of where the line started.. Yes to us that's common sense, but to an elder they are unsure of a lot in businesses and don't want to hold anyone back even if that's what they end up doing. Help them, don't YELL at a poor old lady. I almost said something! Then another lady was ordering a sandwich and the woman making it was basically POURING mayo on it, and I had a sandwich made 10 minutes earlier and it wasn't made like that.. the lady says "woah" in a nice playful tone and the girl SNAPS at her "WELL THIS IS HOW I WAS TRAINED TO MAKE IT" are you kidding me? That's how you train your employees, to yell at customers when youre in the wrong? Bc my sandwich that was made 10 mins before was definitely not dripping mayonnaise.. Now the food.. Me & my boyfriend came in perfect timing to hear your employees talking about how another employee made the bread wrong or something, and with complete knowledge of us standing infront of them, one of the ladies called said employee who messed up bread was a "stupid b*h"... This is how you train your employees to act infront of customers? Then, I witnessed the girl carelessly throwing onions into a container but dropping the onions all over the rest of the veggies.. Cross contamination, food allergies, lawsuit. All I'm saying. I would love to tell you which employees, but wouldn't you know it... neither were wearing a name tag. I will NEVER...
Read moreThe young girl named Hailey took care of a few customers before it was my turn, then told me she had online orders to complete. She asked how many sandwichs and I told her 4, She didn't even ask what kind of bread for my first sandwich just put it on Italian. She just started slapping the stuff on bread. The Spicy Italian She didn't even separate the meats just put stacks of it on the bread. When she got to my husband's Baja steak Jack she just sprinkled a bit of meat on it. I had to ask for double meat because she didn't even put the full amount on it. She used the same knife on each sandwich without wiping it off. The whole area was a pig stye. The people behind me wernt impressed either. They were out of alot and what they did have probably should have been put in the garbage. As a fellow business owner I would be embarrassed if someone seen my kitchen like this. Do better, and if you can't there's no business being open. Added a pic to show just how dirty it was. Peep those tomatoes, all the tomatoes...
