I downloaded the subway app. Wanted a heart healthy sandwish. Read through the menue. App is great. I created a health sandwish. sourdough bread turkey slics. After 20 min girl finally ask me how may she help. I say the sourdought bread is the lowest in salt right. As I reading from the app? I look up and she is looking at some man that other girl was checking out and began speaking with them. I stays there looking at her like you asked me how you can help I start my order and your not listening. About what seem like forever maybe 1 min she looks at me I say are you ready for my order now ? She starts repeating what she thinks she heard. Corrected her and asked about the sourbough bread. She starts speaking over me and says we don't server sourdough beard. So thoughing everything off I looked back down at my app information. She said we have wheat grain. I'll have that with turkey slic and Swiss cheese. Footlong 2 off them. She starts and again seems like thats taking forever as she is getting bread slicing it open and adding the turkey and cheese I finialy walked over to see the sides because this is taking way to long She finally asked would you like that toasted I said no thinking if i said yes that would take her another 20 min. Finally the sandwiches are passed down to other girl which asked what I would like to add. It was a total of 30 min when there was only 1 other person there in front of me. I grab a bag of baked chips and she says would you like to make it a combo. I asked oh what's the benefit ? And savings. She is well there isn't any. So I say no thats all. I show her my scan bar on my cell phone and she looks at me like what is that for. I tell her its your reward program. She says ok scan it there pointing to a red light on other side of counter. Tryed scanning 3 times nothing happens. She says oh hold on totals the order and says try it now. Scan she tells me a total says thank you I walked out. Read moreIt's just another Subway... Right? NOPE! Not this one! You don't expect a whole lot going into a Subway, but this one is by far the worst I've ever been to. I always order online and normally at any other location, my food is ready 5-10 minutes early and even though I show up before my pickup time, it's ready when I get there. Not this one! I showed up a few minutes after my pickup time and my sandwich still wasn't finished. The place wasn't even busy, 2 people eating and one person having a sandwich made. Moving on, I went to get a drink from the soda fountain. First choice: out of syrup. No biggie, it happens. Second choice: out of syrup... OK... Third choice: out of syrup. On the fourth choice it didn't come out clear but didn't quite taste right. Looked in my cup and the ice had little black flecks in it. Not sure if the ice machine has mold growing in it or there's just that much sediment in the tap water and they aren't running filters on it. Either way, not even worth getting the drink at that point. Getting home, I opened the sandwich and instead of a sandwich with toppings in it, I had a sandwich with a side of toppings... Nothing was actually in the sandwich anymore. Looked to me that the toppings were so slathered in mayo they just slipped out. I have never in my life seen so much mayo on one sandwich even when I asked for extra, which I didn't this time. All in all, I will never return to this gross and low quality...
Read moreThis location WILL steal from you if you order delivery. Order from the other location in Ruskin, way better and I'm not missing half of the protein on my sandwich that I paid for. Weirdly have come to discover that my sandwich was in fact opened and looks as though the meat was removed before arriving at my address. I have already contacted the franchise about this. Stay safe, do not order from this location. This has happened one too many times now upon getting delivery from this location and I've had enough. I will be contacting authorities if this is not dealt with, as this can lead to cross contamination and essentially be poisoning customers due to this. Allergies are real and the fact that someone could have an allergic reaction due to someone touching another sandwich to remove the contents is terrifying and horrifying. Shame on you, Subway and the DoorDash driver they employ. Please go to the other location as they actually tape and close the sandwich wrapper and bags! This location does not! Not only a cross contamination scare and an allergy scare, but we are in the midst of Covid still and I am considering suing due to having my life in danger due to someone putting their hands in my food when they shouldn't.
