Was in town and stopped for a late lunch. Parking lot was pretty busy for a Monday so we figured it was worth a try. Restaurant is cute, menu is quite extensive. We tried one of the specials, 1/2 fried chicken, it was 4 PCs of chicken, choice of potato, veggie, soup or salad and dessert. We chose the mashed potatoes and gravy, it came with beef gravy which was odd since we were having chicken, it was ok, tasted like mashed potatoes were real mashed potatoes and the gravy was just ok. The mixed veggies were corn, peas and green beans, they were ok. The chicken was not crispy, but it was hot it really tasted like it had been par cooked then frozen and then flash fried to serve, chicken was dry. I would not order it again. We also tried the Atlantic breaded cod with fries and the same mixed veggies, fries were battered, crispy and hot delicious they had homemade ranch dressing which was amazing! The fish was hit, crispy and good, that I would order again. They had 3 soups of the day, chicken noodle, matzoh ball soup and navy bean. We tried the chicken noodle it was delicious & the navy bean which we really liked too! The entrees also came with a dessert choice of ice cream, Jello of rice pudding. We chose the rice pudding to go, but did have a taste. It was definitely homemade and delicious! The restaurant was clean, easily wheelchair accessible if you need. Plenty of convenient and easy to navigate parking! I would probably not go out of my way to go there again, but if in the area I wouldn’t be opposed to stopping. We definitely left full, but did not take our leftovers. They do have a phenomenal selection of what looks to be, homemade desserts! We could not resist and took a piece of the to die for looking chocolate cake with us for a treat later!!! Our server was friendly, fast and nice! Give it a try if you are...

Hmmm. Let’s start with the breakfast. Eggs were bland and very buttery, fat was not trimmed from the ham edges at all, French toast was extremely bland and undercooked. I used alot off pepper and salt just to add flavor sadly. The orange juice is concentrated. I did order biscuits and gravy to go, and sadly they are not good. There’s no love in this food, only standard prepackaged cheap industrial kitchen grade ingredients in everything it seems. But hey, at these prices you get what you pay for I guess.

Service was great and friendly. My waitress did try and overcharge me for orange juice that was included in the meal because she brought me a large after asking what I wanted to drink at the beginning of service so probably a little bit of chaos and confusion theory there to pad the bill. Be careful with that but the manager upfront took care of it no problem. If you ask for an orange juice, they will bring you a large. Only small orange juice included with some of the meals as you can see by my photos of the menu. Of the restaurants I have reviewed in the area, this is the only one so far that includes orange juice or coffee with most meals so keep that in mind if your budget conscious.

Atmosphere is an old retired Perkins was here before for years and these people just put the Sunflower name over it. Same fare, nothing more, nothing less.

Overall the better choice in this area is Marti’s so far for me up the street. Much better food with the same service. I’m leaving reviews for all of the breakfast locations in the area over the next few months to see if any of these establishments have changed over the years at all to be fair to...

We discovered this place on our last 2 days of our trip. We ate dinner here both evenings before heading to the beach for the sunset. The first evening, my husband had the Open-faced Rueben and I had a California Chicken sandwich (I think is what it was. I was back and forth with several different plates) it was a grilled chicken breast with ham and Swiss cheese! OMGOODNESS!! Soooo good!! You get a cup of soup with the sandwiches and it is a hearty size “cup!” We both had the cream of chicken & rice…😍 WOW! Very yummy!! We were full and couldn’t even think about dessert, but I wish I would have got one to bring with us for a “midnight snack!” Evening #2…we figured we had to end with Fish, especially being in Florida. We both had the fish sandwich. Again, VERY GOOD!! I had vegetable soup and my husband had their Mozotaball (I know I didn’t spell it correctly, but it is like a dumpling soup with chicken broth). He said his was really good! This time I was not leaving without a piece of the “Towering Carrot Cake!” Definitely enough for two people to share!! It is HUGE!!! Had a hard time deciding between all of the desserts! Check them out when you walk in! They are staring at you when you walk in, as you wait to be seated. I am 100% sure you will not be disappointed in your sweet choice!! As well as, I am sure anything you choose on the menu will be satisfying to you! Enjoy!!😊 P.S. sorry, forgot to get pics of...
