Worst customer service! Went with a party of 4 tonight, 2 of us ordered the turkey dinner. According to the menu this is hand carved white meat turkey. What was presented was literal dog food. Chunks of stringy turkey that was mushy and perhaps undercooked. Worst turkey I have ever had, turkey loaf would have been better. When we told the waitress she tried to say that it was fresh turkey hand carved but we showed her the chunks of turkey that clearly could not have been "carved," maybe it was the scraps from the end of the night but it was inedible. The waitress took the meal Away and asked if we wanted anything else instead. Per her suggestion I went with the chicken slovaki platter. The other person in my party said she didnt want anything in replacement. I will say the chicken slovaki was good even though I had to wait 10min for it and eat it after everyone in my party was already done with their meals. We were shocked when the bill came though. They took the turkey dinners off but charged us $5 for the soup that had originally come with the inedible turkey dinner and also charged us for my replacement meal. When I asked about the charge for my soup in particular I was told it wasnt included in the replacement dinner I had chosen. So lets get this straight Im being charged $5 for a soup that was part of the original meal I ordered but since you screwed the meal Up and I had to order something else and wait and eat after everyone in my party was already done I now have to pay this extra fee because the dinner the server recc did not include the soup. Never have I had this happen. Any reputable restaurant I have ever been to will not only comp the meal that was inedible but usually will Comp the replacement meal or a dessert etc. To be charged $5 for the soup was ridiculous and when questioned the waitress said sorry thats what my manager said to do. Bad food can be understood as mistakes happen but bad customer service is something that is unforgivable. Im glad they nickel and dimed us for $10 in soup because they just lost 4...

Summerlin Cafe 8-17-24 This review will be for Breakfast and Dinner as I was there for both. I arrived at about 7:15 am. I was greeted right away and seated fast as this place was not that busy because they just opened. My waitress was fast to get my coffee and food order. I ordered the Meat Lovers Skillet with Eggs over easy. My order came out fast, it was hot, and eggs were just the way I liked them. I got a refill on my coffee, and she kept it up to date as I ate. I cannot say anything bad about my breakfast, it was very good. I don’t like to do reviews just based on breakfast. I don’t believe it’s fair, so I had to go back for dinner to give a better review. We arrived around 4 pm on a Saturday and got a table immediately. This place is always neat, clean and well lit. Our waitress was Nicky, and she was very attentive to our needs. She got our drink order and left the food menu, trust me there is something for everyone to choose from on their large item menu. I ordered the Prime Rib med well, my wife ordered the Filet Mignon med, and my dad ordered the ½ Fried Chicken. For our sides we got the Baked Potato, Salad, Carrots and Green Beans. Also, all our meals came with dessert. Our food came out fast and all items were hot. Mine was very good, as were all the sides. My wife liked hers and her sides were to her liking. My dad said his was very good and he would get it again. We did ask for rolls and Nicky brought some out fast and refilled our drinks. All in all, our food was good and the service by Nicky was great. As you can see from my pictures the servings filled our plates, when we were done, we were full. To finish up as far as deserts Nicky went over what we could order so we put in our desert order of ice cream at that time. I believe you can’t go wrong with eating here. I have been here a couple times and we had not had a bad meal there yet. We will drive almost an hour to eat there for a more upscale meal. I am so sorry i have to write this review. My family and i -five of us-visited the restaurant on Sunday August 3rd around 12:45 pm. Bad experience with the quality of food served. I ordered the Souvlaki platter served with choice of soup. I chose the cream of chicken rice. What i was served was a very thick blop thicker than a pudding in a bowl. I tried to stay optimistic about the look telling my self it can't be, i ate here before and the food was great. That this time was no soup it was something very very thick looked like came out from the can! Knowing that the restaurant is owner owned and operated i asked the server to bring it to the owner's attention. She said he was on vacation. I then politely asked the server to please take it back and let the head of the kitchen know about it he should know what to do. She apologized and brought me out a matzo ball. It was...ok. Then my main dish came. One reg. size oval plate with soo nuch food in it overflowing the plate. There was a garden salad in the plate and lots of it, lots of rice with potato salad on top! topped with crambled feta cheese, lots of red onions, four pieces of pita bread a souffle cup with some kind of dressing, another souffle cup with tzatziki sauce -which was watering on the top- and a chicken kebab. Lots of food piled up in a not large enough plate. Very unapertizing! I will not complain about my family's food they were mostly breakfast items and good for the most part. We had coffee and was never asked if wanted a refill which is customary in this type of eatery. No big deal for the coffee, but upsetting about my food. Payed apx. $80.00 plus tip and left disappointed. On a good note, when the server heard that it was one of us's birthday, she announced it and served complimentary chocolate cake. It is a nice gesture that the restaurant does. Being in the restaurant business my self, all i can say to the owner is the next time you go on vacation put a sign on the door saying Closed for vacation! Because όταν λείπει η γάτα χορεύουν...
