Wow. Wow. Wow. We are so excited to have a new spot we can frequent :) We’ve driven by this place many times and decided to give it a try last week. Upon entering, the staff were all very pleasant and happy and mentioned their new bar area located towards the back of their restaurant. We decided to check it out and what a surprise! This new area is so cute and homey. Our server Gabriella was ON POINT. She never stopped smiling and she had many recommendations for us. The food is out of this world. You can tell the food is made with LOVE here. We were so excited about this place we called our friends after and planned to meet them there the following week. Sicilia took care of us last night and she was excellent as well. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and she was so sweet to my friends 7 month old son. She got his high-chair immediately, remembered his name, and put cartoons on the TV for him to settle down with. I got the Jamica juice and the same dish as the first time which was fabulous again! Everyone at our table loved their food. My ONLY recommendation for this restaurant is to add descriptions to their menu. We love Mexican food, but aren’t familiar with the names of some of the dishes and their ingredients & sometimes we don’t want to pull out our phones to learn what they are. We order tamales (not knowing what they were) and didn’t end up eating them because of the pork :/ our friend took a bite and said they were good, though! Their rice and beans are amazing and I love their fresh toppings for the tacos. So simple. Keep it up, Takote! Y’all are rocking it....

Would give 0 stars if I could. Came here with my family. Arrived 40 minutes before kitchen closed. Sat in the bar area. The bartender was the only one working in the room...... was making all the drinks for the entire restaurant and had a full room of tables which she neglected. Ordered drinks and an appetizer. We didn’t get our drinks for 25 minutes and The appetizer came 35 minutes later. My dad literally leaves the restaurant as we had already been waiting forever. Mind you it is now 9:55 pm. We immediately cash out with her and move to the main room to hopefully get better service. I informed the new waitress about the horrible service we had and we were ready to order dinner. The waitress then tells us the kitchen CLOSED at ten. There were other waiters standing around. It takes the SMALLEST AMOUNT OF EFFORT to let your tables know the kitchen is closing and ask did you want to order dinner. The previous waitress NEVER informed us about the kitchen closing...... never asked us if we wanted to order food...... I ask the new waitress if we can talk to the owner of the restaurant and she doesn’t say anything. The shrimp cocktail appetizer comes with crackers and not chips. What???? Would NOT RECOMMEND. It was like a cold shrimp soup with crackers. When I mention the crackers she doesn’t offer to bring chips even after the horrible experience she knows we had. Used to come here all the time before Ian. Ordered chips and queso tonight. No flavor in the queso. Tasted really bland even tho they thru pico in it to add to it I guess(Can't eat tomatoes seed so 👎) inedible for me. The Chips they serve are cut premade tortillas and fried and were too greasy to eat even half of them. Ordered more chips and salsa for a cost. The salsa was like pizza marinara. Bad. Ordered drinks. They were good. We were surprised. Margs. Ordered a beef empanada. So bad. I had the shredded chicken chimichanga. It was also covered in marinara. Inedible. We also got the enchiladas. They were also covered in marinara. I guess when the waitress picked up my inedible plate, the manager came over then took my barely touched chimichanga off the ticket... He should've taken that beef empanada off too. 🤢 He even said it was a marinara.
