Tiki Subs — Restaurant in Florida

What a wonderful surprise finding this new restaurant was. It seems like all you get anymore is some frozen garbage that's been reheated. Well not here, when I took my first bite I knew instantly that this wasn't the usual garbage that everybody else serves. Everything I was served was prepared correctly cooked correctly. Everything was fresh, not frozen. You could really tell and taste a difference and how much care and respect was put into this meal. If you're reading this, this probably seems a little bit dramatic for a sandwich shop or that maybe even the guy who owns the place went way overboard and wrote himself a review, but that's not the case. It's just that I began to think that the restaurant industry is a whole. Has failed us. Just seems like you can't get good food anywhere anymore. I was so thrilled with the meal that I had to get on here and write about it. So I just want to thank everyone at the sub shop and the owner who greeted me upon my visit. Thanks for delicious meal and I appreciate the effort...

Tiki Subs is excellent at the basics. Ingredients are high quality enough to not need to do anything “extra”. My husband, son and I were able to eat great food at a low price. My husband and son had the chicken quesadillas and we split tacos, rice, beans, guac, etc. I’ve been all over Fort Myers and this was the most authentic Mexican cuisine I’ve had. The gentleman working the night of 2/25 (I’m assuming he’s the owner) was genuinely kind and accommodating. In a small shack that I could’ve easily grabbed my own food from, he made a point to walk our food out to us and promptly deliver our requests. We work in the hospitality industry and were impressed with the quality of service. We stopped by on accident but will return soon. Nicely done, Tiki Subs :) Thanks for the good food and genuine...

Tiki Subs is DELICIOUS. We have tried 8 different menu items at least & everything was outstanding. You can't go wrong here. We have had several kinds of tacos, 2 kinds of subs (Italian & BLT- both so, so good & huge portions), tostados, tortas, nachos, tamales... THEIR TAMALES are the size of a brick almost. I'm not kidding. Their subs are 12" subs & plenty for leftovers- unless you get the 6" special. The tortas (a kind of Mexican sandwich) are HUGE. Their tacos are served open-faced on soft, hot corn tortillas & have large portions of meat. Their sauce is hotttt... and we "like hot stuff" & still felt this way. Ask for mild sauce or use sparingly at first! They are open late & so convenient. Go. Eat. ...
