I wish I didn’t have to even give them the star. Very unprofessional and makes the games not fun. Tried two nights in a row to play and was denied both times until the second time I threatened to call the boss the following day. We came 40 minutes from closing with a full golf course. We were right behind the people in front of us. The lady denied us (second day), until like I said I threaten to call the boss and let him:her know what has happened. And then we had 6 playing and one 3 year old that wasn’t really taking a turn but just being there. The old lady came out and instead of nicely telling us, was very rude and told us we had to split up. Said “that’s our policy.” I looked to the right of me where the policy said “4 (sometimes 5)” in a group. I volunteered to stop playing so the 5 could play and the toddler to keep just doing her thing. The lady proceeded to argue with me and then walked away saying she should throw us out. As we were leaving, I bluntly heard her talking about us to a coworker. It’s a shame we paid over $100 and was treated this way. I have been here quite a few times. This time the manager was a butt. I had a Groupon . The wifi on my personal phone wouldn't pull it up. Steve Brown was the manager. When I went in the office I asked if I could have the password to pull up my Groupon . From the office, where I couldn't see anyone, Steve yelled a stern "No,"No explanation at all was given and no other words were spoken . So our party left and drove down to Mcdonalds to pull up the Groupon. We came back and the counter guy was excellent and helped us greatly. The office door was closed. I asked the name of the manager from the office. I was given his business card and was told he would be back shortly. I have been in the service industry my entire life. You NEVER handle things like this. Simple things like this will send myself, my friends and my money to one of the many other courses in Lee County. Fun night golfing for our mini family reunion. We were a group of six (ages 11 and up), all visiting from out of state. The staff was helpful and very personable. As we were arriving the skies opened up and rained like crazy for about 30 minutes, temporarily flooding the property. A staff member greeted us at the door, explained that the water would recede shortly and suggested we come back in a few hours for a more enjoyable visit. Before we left he took the disappointed kids to feed the alligators for free and even gave them each a souvenir Pokémon golf ball to take home. When we came back later that evening the service was just as good. We enjoyed our evening golfing despite the light rain and had a good chat with staff when leaving. Everyone was very hospitable.
