I have been ordering from here for many years and honestly the food is pretty good most of the time. The service is TERRIBLE! Landon up front is great but he's the exception! The ladies are God awful! Especially the manager! I called after a friend picked up a Togo order for me that was wrong- their menu is actually wrong but the manager is in denial. They clearly have a disclaimer stating "Item with * are raw" That is absolutely not true- here's the description for what I ordered: Volcano Roll 11.99 Salmon, krab and cream cheese with baked seafood on top
No * anywhere as opposed to other menu items such as: *Salmon Roll
The manager wanted to get into a back and forth screaming match over the phone telling me they don't need the * symbol their menu has as a disclaimer to indicate the salmon in the Volcano roll is raw, obviously it's "fresh salmon" then she said she'd refund the money after my reiterating it's misleading but whatever they already have my money so lesson learned- their menu is misleading, don't order there anymore. But she hung up on me before getting my card info. I called back 3x and was hung up on all 3x. Called from another number and she tells me she can't refund me because there are other items on my bill. I said, well you hung up on me before I could tell you that and she tried to continue arguing which is when I needed to raise my voice for the first time in all of her nastiness! I reminded her again that she was the unprofessional manager who hung up on me. I ended up having to pay for the remainder of the order on another card so she could void that transaction.
Sad that the kitchen staff works so hard and does a good job to ultimately loose customers over the ladies that manage the place. Terrible...
Read moreSushi Storm is a small Japanese/Thai restaurant worth visiting. They seem to do a thriving take-out business, but the restaurant provides a nice and comfortable atmosphere that makes dining in worth the experience.
Service is fast and efficient- not special, but not bad by any means. The seating area is clean and comfortable with a number of TVs around in case you are not fond of your blind date. All TVs are muted, so conversation is definitely possible.
The menu is vast, spanning two countries with traditional Thai favorites like Pad Thai, Japanese bentos, and the restaurant’s namesake sushi. When in a sushi joint, try the fish. Sushi Storm does not disappoint. The owners don’t seem overly concerned with profits because portions are weighted with the expensive ingredients while prices are not unreasonable. If you don’t like fish, the ramen is excellent with a very nice balance of traditional Asian flavors.
Desserts include tempura fried ice cream, mango sticky rice, and other selections, all delicious. The Thai iced tea is better than any you’ve tried elsewhere. The only complaint is that the hosts don’t do a great job of separating customers placing or collecting to-go orders from those waiting to be seated. As a word of advice, skip ahead of the to-go customers and ask the host if you can seat yourself.
Drop by for dinner, and you just might see us there. It’s our new favorite restaurant in the West...
Read moreThe service here is absolutely disrespectful. The owners name is Chad and the waitress that served me and my family; her name is Lucky. Lucky was very rude. She rushed us when we were ordering and didn’t even come back to our table to see if we were doing ok. This other lady was in there for the first time and she was so confused as to what to order and no one (restaurant employees) was helping her. So she asked me to help her find something she would like on the menu. So here I am promoting your business and helping this random lady with the menu, and I get treated with such disrespect. So when we finished and paid for our meal, I was appalled at the attitude I received from “Lucky” (the waitress) after just spending over $50 dollars. And the lady I was helping with what to choose on the menu, I have never met nor seen before in my life and even the lady was blown away by how I was treated. She tried to help defend me and it was her first time eating there. They expected me to leave them a 18% tip after the horrible service I was just received. No ma’am not in 2023. Give and you shall receive and she did the complete opposite of service. The service I received was completely rude and uncalled for. If you want to eat at a place with good service, this place is NOT the...
