The lady who took my order was nice but that was about it. You can smell the fumes from nail salon next door as if you were in the nail salon... Not to mention the food is overpriced and absolutely disgusting. I always get my food from NY Chinese because it is most like what I’m used to up North, but I had just driven from my husband’s surgery and stopped here on the way home. Big mistake. I ordered eggplant in garlic sauce and added tofu -I never mind paying extra to get my protein. I don’t know on what planet this eggplant was from, but it had the texture of boiled shrimp and even tasted fishy... Not to mention the garlic sauce was NOT garlic sauce. I wouldn’t even know what to call that sauce.
Just all around awful.
My husband is not usually picky with food, but even he refused to eat it.
Would never go here again. Go to NY Chinese for great Chinese food...
Read moreEvery day you go into this restaurant, they change the prices their lunch special clearly states $7.75 yet when you going to the restaurant the price is jacked up and then when they do serve you the lunch special they change the containers to a smaller container and charge you almost 3 dollars more. They never have the free soda that goes with the order and they charge you five dollars for pork fried rice and then tell you if you’re ordering fried rice from a Chinese restaurant is additional five dollars that they want to serve you white Rice imagine going to a Chinese restaurant for Chinese food and they’re giving you an up charge for Chinese rice. That’s ridiculous I stopped by this restaurant every single day on the way to work to buy their egg drop soup. The food is good. However, their prices is never consistent. customer...
Read moreNew to the area and wanted some Chinese food, house fried rice and egg drop soup are my go-to (even though I know how to make both) I wanted to see how different it may be from southern Florida Chinese restaurants. Sadly, the egg drop soup is too chunky for my liking but I’m not one to waste food because I don’t like it. ( my mom taught me better than that) but the fortune cookie was stale, same for the wonton crackers I put into the soup. As far as that goes, I also ordered the bourbon chicken with the house fried rice instead of pork, the chicken was nice like in a mall food court (which was what I was going for) the rice sadly didn’t have much flavor but they added some sauce packets so that helps! Would I ever eat here again? Maybe. I like to give places 3 tries before I say never again. Maybe try something else next time....
