I always like to keep an open mind about reviews I see on here and Im sad to say that this place truly earns the 3 stars or lower that it deserves. I didn't even get a chance to try their cuisine because I didnt even get a chance to sit down or even get a chance to get anybody to acknowledge my presence. I stood at the "wait to be seated" stand and two people were in the restaurant eating...both of them looked at me then went back to their plates of food. I put on the "who do I talk to" face to no avail. A lady came out from the kitchen but was determined to get to her destination so strongly, that she didnt even look up to acknowledge me. After a few minutes of standing there extremely conspicuous, a lady walked past from what i believe was the cleaning department and I was fortunate enough to make eye contact with her to which she felt obligated to answer my question of "Who works here!?". She kinda put her hands up like "its not me, its not me" and then pointed to the blonde ladies sitting at a table and said "Its her...talk to her ". I looked over at her like "Hi, can i give you my money in exchange for some food?" to which she just went back to the plate in front of her. So, I had to eventually turn on my heel and leave.
So, if the food in this place is a reflection of their service...RUN! I guess they feel they have a certain communist monopoly because they are the ONLY restaurant in this Hilton but, my advice is take advantage of somewhere...
Read moreCertainly not the worst dining experience I’ve ever had, but not too far from it. We recently had a disappointing experience at Table 55, the restaurant inside Hilton Miami Dadeland. I would give it a two-star rating based on several factors. Firstly, the language barrier was a significant issue. Out of all the employees, only one, Genesis, spoke English fluently. While Genesis was a ray of shining light in the otherwise dark cloud, it made communication with other staff members extremely challenging.
On a positive note, the happy hour food was quite good. However, I would strongly advise staying away from the overpriced steak dinner special. The quality did not justify the high price tag.
Overall, my experience at Table 55 left much to be desired. The language barrier and the disappointment with the steak dinner were major drawbacks. I hope the restaurant takes these factors into consideration and improves their service for...
