It was my first time here and I thought this is a nice place and up to date. It’s a little crowded inside with a couple 40 inch TV’s on the wall, two pool tables in good condition with another nice wooden wet bar out back, under the large awning. The customers are friendly having a good time - although.. I believe the one of the chunky female bar tenders out back with the diamond stud on her chest has been desensitized and could care less about friendly customer service. . Maybe it’s the Xanax she’s on or possibly that’s just the way she is, idk. But after I left her a healthy tip on the counter she just took it without a smile or a thank you- I got nothing. Then she dropped it in her tip bucket and walked away. So I’m like - why even bother. If she’s going to snub me weather I give her a tip or not, then I might as well save my money and not even bother next time.
Other Thoughts: The menus here are printed out on a piece of paper which is okay , but the used menu I got was wrinkled and all smudged up with dried out food and several finger prints all over it. You would think they could add a plastic coating to cover it , or just print out a new copy once in awhile instead of offering up used dirty paper menus.
Over all , I still thinks it’s one of the best drinking and gathering establishments that I’ve been to here in town and I will certainly come back to see what I missed the first...
Read moreFirst off the food was great! But let's make sure we understand one thing we went to go here because of the ratings. It says it is a sports bar but it is truly a very clean, biker bar, with several small TVs. So, not really a sports bar. We were visiting for just a short time that day, and stopped in for lunch. We were worried when we walked in because it is a bar... And we did not have high expectations. Like I said it was very clean and the staff was attentive, but we did walk in right opening. My wife and I both ordered cheeseburgers and I also ordered a fried bologna sandwich. I had never had a fried bologna sandwich, and it was great! Both of our burgers came out exactly, exactly the way we ordered them. They were well seasoned well dressed and extremely tasty. I could not have been more surprised just because I was worried because of the appearance of it just being bar food. The price was just right and it was not expensive at all, that's why I ordered the fried bologna sandwich as a kicker. I would go there again and I would recommend anybody to stop in to get a bite! The coleslaw was the first really good coleslaw I've had in the Florida in a long time! So this place is spot on, it's on my list and I will return if I am...
Read moreThe food is usually good, but I've eaten it and gotten sick. Don't know if that is a product of the chef or the condition of the kitchen. The drinks reasonably priced. The outdoor area is smoky. I love sitting outside but hate breathing smoke. Lots of places ban smoking on patios. Gators should do this. The loss of 10 smokers versus the gain of many non smokers would be a no brainer. The inside is echoey. No house music. They have touch tunes so you get awkward silence, or music no one want to hear. DJ's the clientele are not. Lots of people yelling in this environment. Always. I have been there more than a few times. Echoey yelling. Always. The lighting is intense daylight LEDs. My 30 year old eyes hate it and I know no one ever the age of 50 digs it. Just bright lights glaring across the cornea. All this being said I don't hate it. It has a chill feel. Service is usually decent. The staff cares but I don't think the owners understand ambiance, atmosphere, etc. Seams clean. Decently clean bathrooms. Good burgers. BTW Tailgatorz your longest wait time is on Thursdays according to Google Maps. You have live music that night. Don't think it is a coincidence.......
