Tamiami Subs — Restaurant in Florida

I've been coming here since they first opened their doors in 2009. They have always provided fresh, quality ingredients and customer service is one of a kind. My sub orders have always been executed with accuracy. I highly recommend Tamiami Subs.

Vanessa, the owner is the driving force behind this dynamic operation and she does an amazing job at it too. She is welcoming and professional, and she even remembers her customers. The same goes for her staff: they provide fast and friendly service. Although a small business, it is evident to me that company culture is pretty important to this business woman.

What I've had and found to be yummy: ~ Chicken Teriyaki with Provolone & Grilled Mushrooms, whole sub $8.89

I have yet to try their Veggie Overdose sub, but when I do I'll be sure to update my review.

Things to know: ~ Make sure to get your rewards card stamped. After your 10th stamp, you get a free stub. On Wednesdays, you get double stamps.

~ They are First Responders friendly, which is nice given the kind of world we live in today. It's a blessing.

~ They too have lives outside of the sub shop, so they are closed on Sundays.

Hopefully this will reach someone that will address my issue. This place for the most part is great. The staff is warm and sweet, very attentive. The atmosphere is great. The food is great and seems very fresh. So what exactly is my issue. I'll admit, some of you will think it's an odd thing thing to complain about, but I feel like its a legitimate complaint if you're a sub enthusiast like me. I ordered a double meat Italian. And I have to be honest I was floored when I picked up my sub and felt the weight of it. I honestly couldn't wait to dig into it. When I got home however I made a discovery that instantly turned me off. The Italian here is made with ham, salami and bologna. If you look at my picture, I've made a clear separation between the bologna and salami and the ham. There is a slice of bologna, a slice of salami and the rest is pure ham. I get that's it's weird to complain about getting so much of a thing but, the issue is that its not actually double meat at this point nor does this even taste like an Italian with so much ham. I have lived in west west Kendall my whole life and I hate myself for never having been here before! First of all, I arrived at the door of this fine establishment at 6:57pm and they closed at 7:00pm and rightfully so they had their door locked. As I sadly walked away Matt an employee opened the door and flagged me in. My faith in humanity now restored, I ran into the store apologized profusely for the inconvenience but grateful to grab some food.
