The park is great. However, this review is specifically for ACCESS to the park, where access without a car is nonexistent. Approaching from the East, the sidewalk on 120th St ends abruptly (see video), and from the West, there is no semblance of a sidewalk that connects to the entrance of the park. This is unacceptable. I road my bike in and am able to leap off the sidewalk and onto the grass. Not everyone is able or willing to do so. On my way out, I saw a lady have to step onto the grass to make her way into the park. It's not an issue of stepping/riding on grass. It's an issue that mobility other than the car was not thought of when this park was installed. A park is a community asset that requires equitable access. Unfortunately, this park failed to do so. Good options to fix this would be to--at minimum, extend the Eastern sidewalk into the park entrance or possibly make a side entrance. Definitely room for...
