Taylor Made Cafe — Restaurant in Florida

I rarely write bad reviews, especially because I’ve come here for over 10 years with no issues. It looks like they share space now with a pizza company now. I came here for lunch which was not cheap ! I was the only customer.and while the food itself was good, the table was dirty, There was a dirty rag underneath the Pepsi case & the place was very dim with many of the lights off in the dining area. BUT most importantly the experience was completely overshadowed by the behavior of a man who I assume is either the owner or manager

Throughout my entire meal, this individual received multiple phone calls and proceeded to loudly argue and curse at someone named Josh. This wasn’t a one-off call—it happened several times and was incredibly disruptive. I was the only customer in the restaurant at the time, and instead of stepping outside or lowering his voice, he carried on without any regard for the dining atmosphere.

I understand when running a business things happen that are very stressful, but what made the situation even worse was that he didn’t acknowledge that I was eating or even apologize for the unprofessional outburst—not even a simple “sorry about that.” As a paying customer, I found it incredibly disrespectful and awkward to sit through. The guy was acting like he was taking a phone call in his own home

It’s a real shame because the food was ok, but the lack of basic courtesy and professionalism made the experience uncomfortable and ill never return based on how this situation...

I am from Lake Worth and generally enjoy the environment of an open coffee shop, limited traffic, and fair time spent on creating productivity however manageable on my days off. I visited this cafe while it was nearby an appointment I had earlier in the day and I came to fall in love with the quiet and warm atmosphere of the lovely women cooking and food-prepping, the checkered tile, and the feeling of being in a shared home honestly. I ordered coffee and frankly felt transported to a wildly different place than roadside Wellington. Taylor of Taylor Made was warm and generous with her cafe space while I worked on the number of things I wanted to get done, often on the phone and absorbing public space that on a Monday would be impossible elsewhere (let alone somewhere that smelled so constantly delicious of health foods in their formal preparation).
