I have visited Sushi Moto dozens of times throughout the years and each time I go I have the same experience - either dining in or with carry out. Unlike some of the other reviewers here, I have ALWAYS been served delicious, and very fresh food, no matter what menu option I have chosen (hats off to the Chef and the Itamae) . The presentation is always beautiful with fresh and colorful sushi/sashimi options, large entree plates, extras such as spring rolls (comes with some meals - even without requesting them) and, if you have take out, they do not overlook the minor details such as plastic wrapping each individual entree plate and bagging separately. The entrees are always plentiful with great taste and prepared according to your palette on a spice level if applicable. The reason I don't rate Sushi Moto with 5 stars is because there is something lacking on a service/location aspect. The place is small and LOUD and feels a bit cramped at times. Your take out or dine-in wait can be long and somewhat torturous if you stand outside in the front of the restaurant or in the service hallway dodging servers and bathroom visits. I am sure that the kitchen space is limited since the place is very small and wait times for both seating and food service are longer than normal but I just hope that they may be able to devise a system to alleviate this bottleneck that occurs, especially as the reputation of their quality food continues to spread. All in all, if you visit Sushi Moto with the expectation of a bit of a wait, you will not be disappointed with the quality of the food and the wait will...

I want to reply to or stand with another reviewer regarding the way they treated his wife and 6 month old baby.
Over the years, while my kids were in high school and came home from college we ordered many, many times from sushi moto. Now, mind you I could never get thru on the phone, so I would have to drive there - 5 minutes - and order - 45 minutes. Needless to say, we spent thousands on takeout. The food is OK.
So what am I complaining about? Today, around 4 pm, I went to Lutinas, right next door in the plaza. I ordered my pizza and was talking to my colleague on the phone. I casually sat on an outdoor chair, which the entire time the few outdoor chairs were all empty. It was 4 pm, and the place was a desert.
So the old man comes out. I know he was the owner because of all the times I've been there picking up.
He says, "How many will be in your party?" I answered oh just me, I'm just waiting." He says, waiting for what, I said my pizza, he says, and not in a friendly way, I'm going to have to ask you to leave.
Really?
You know, there's one thing he didn't know about me, the fact that I spend plenty of money at his restaurant.
He doesn't know that and obviously doesn't care. But I'd like him to know one thing is dead certain, and he'll learn it by reading my review, I will never spend my time or money at his restaurant. Neither will my kids and family. And, neither will the friends i tell this story to. Good luck buddy good way to treat prospects or long...
