I always add my self to the waiting list before coming to this restaurant because one time I waited a whole hour and a half at that time most decent restaurants were closed & then the host told me after that whole waiting period that they had no tables available & didn’t know what they were going to do. We walk out . Another time we were seated at a table and it was completely filthy we just walked out and left.On March 13,2023 my three children and myself took my husband out to eat and I asked the host in advance if they would sing him their happy birthday song.I was told they would come towards the end & sing this song but they never did. Aug.7,2023 Host told my husband & I that they only had the bar area available @ 8:34 pm . I told the host I prefer a regular table & I didn’t mind waiting . I explained that usually the server in the bar area is quite busy because they make the server do the bar area and do the side tables & to me if you’re on the side table next to the bar you really don’t get the best service although the server is trying to do her best. Host again said that the bar was only available. We walk out. I called & spoke w the manager & then the manager said it would be like 30 mins or so . I said then why I wasn’t given that option especially since it was only 8:34 PM ? Not sure why managers come to table ask if everything is okay before you even order ? Why don’t they come & ck while or after ppl get there food . They always say they run out of either croutons, bread rolls, eggs sometimes all of the above. If you order a salad they will take the order then later on you will receive the salad without croutons eggs etc. then it’s just I’m sorry. When I order the salmon It’s never the same . Either the salmon is cooked good ,two days later it’s cooked awful, has seasoning, or doesn’t have seasoning at all, or you get a plate full of oil & most of the time well done salmon or steak isn’t well done. I’m just going to say This is the first review I have ever done online & being very honest I will say every time that I have gone there I felt like they are very funny .What do I mean by funny acting I feel like they treat certain people very differently meaning that they are racist. I also told the manager when I spoke to her that’s exactly how I felt & she did not agree nor deny it. I have to put a star in order for it to post but from me they would get a zero 0. For me personally I will not be returning back to Texas Roadhouse. Read moreWe were a party of four. Everything was great with the exception of our having to ask another server for all of our needs. We were sat, the server did all in the beginning greet etc etc. After that, took our order. Then nothing. 2 other parties were sat and this server did all the same as ours in the beginning. I had to ask the neighboring server to please check on our salads, her 2 adjacent tables came after my party and received there salads both tables, before we did and we were there with orders taken a good few minutes before these two tables were sat. The kind neighboring server brought our salads out pretty darn quick as I knew the had been sitting there, and sitting there. I want the slightest bit please we had to wait until nearly ready to be served dinner before our salads arrival. I know for sure the way things weren't going that I had to say something or dinner would've made it before the salads. I don't know about anyone else, but I hate to realize that other tables are moving leaps and bounds around me and to sit there and feel more or less forced to have to say something. Thank you neighboring server, she was very kind and helpful and already had her hands full and was busy. 10/19/23 around 7:30,,,,, 7:45. Straight in all the way across to the left back corner Ina both we were sat. Just saying this neighboring server was on her game and mine swiftly, she wore glasses, it was my Birthday. They gave a song and dance. I had the country fried sirloin BP and salad, my niece and her husband both got Sirloins, green bean and salad and our friend got a single pork chop BP and salad and she and I had Cokes my niece and her husband had a mixed drink each and a water. Server didn't seem to be real happy for whatever reason, just not real in the mood or something. She's a Northern girl she told us. She repeated it orders and got it all right. Just not tentative,I felt as if we were left hanging and did rely a lil on the neighboring server to fill in. I'm a Chef, retired from offshore oil platform work, my niece is a professional dancer, her husband runs Heavy Equipment for the State, Our friend is retired from a lucrative law firm. Read moreEDITED!!! October 3, 2020 - Decided to just do to go. Because it was fully packed and there's more people waiting out to be served. But hey!!! Food was 100% spot on. It was delicious! We had grilled porkchop, grilled salmon and chicken critters. We all loved it. October 5, 2020 - I hated to change my review. But I have to! Since we had a good experience couple days ago from doing take outs, I thought dining in will be phenomenal. But I was wrong. Our waitress though seems nice, doesn't really show interest on serving us. Then I happened to order a "Legend Margarita" from the bar tender, guess what, she just shoved it on our table and left, and it wasn't complete so, when 1 waitress came to give us some of our orders I asked and showed her the menu saying this is what I ordered and this is what I've got. She then said with a hard tone " I'm not the bar tender so I don't know" So I was like "wow". Then ofcourse the bar tender came to get my drink without a word, changed it put it back on our table and said "there". Is this how customers should be treated? And there's more, the waiter finally came with our food and almost like dropped-shoved it on our table. Everyone gasp and felt nervous because the food might be knocked off. But after everything is on the table he said "enjoy" and left like it was nothing. Time to eat the food... salty as the sea. Me and husband was hungry so we needed up eating the steak regardless. My daughter ate a little bit of her grilled chicken and stopped. My mother in law, can't do it and ended up changing her order and just do a to go. You'll think it will end there right? But no... we tried paying through their app, ended up being charged TWICE. Manager came to apologize and said they'll dispute it, will take 2 to 3 days, but we need to still pay. So there you go paid 3x for a kind of service I don't what to type the actual word here. Hopefully the issue will be solve asap. If I can give a zero star, I will. Worst dining...
