I have never in my life experienced a dining experience like this. I decided to go to Cheesecake Factory in Estero for the first time last night and the service was terrible. After 40 minuets of driving there It took twenty minuets for a server named Ralph to get our drink orders after not being seated for twenty minuets. It took 15 minuets for the bartender to bring us our drinks because he didn’t we also ordered Mac and cheese balls which Ralph didn’t bring those out either after an additional 10 minuets of waiting. Ralph finally comes back after an additional 20 minuets of our drinks and appetizer being finished for him to come back and take our dinner orders. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and my partner order the Cajun jambalaya pasta, after waiting 30 mins for the food to come out with another server bringing it to us finally but it looked like it had been sitting in the window for awhile as my sauce was almost absorbed by all of the pasta and the pasta was soggy and tasted gross ( I have had this meal a million times at the utc location) as I looked more at my pasta I realized that I had not only fettuccine but also angel hair, spaghetti, and penne all in the same bowl, I don’t understand how this is acceptable. After my partner had finished his pasta he asked if I wanted to send mine back and I said no I’ll just eat the cheesecake whenever Ralph decides to take our dessert orders (we saw him serve others and pass our table multiple times without asking us even if we were enjoying our food) I finally saw him passing again and said excuse me and he seemed as if he wasn’t wanting to talk, so I said can I please place an order for a Togo Oreo cheesecake and he shook his head yes and walked away didn’t even ask my partner if he wanted anything. He then comes and places my cheesecake on a different table with the bill not even letting us know it was ours. We picked the bill up and it was $147. We thought long and hard about how much we should tip in the end we decided not because not only was the service terrible but so was the food ( I didn’t even take my full plate of Alfredo home) I was a server for 4 years and it really hurt my heart to do that but I didn’t feel as though the service we received was worth it. I hope that Cheesecake Factory sees this and gives their staff more training on how to be a service and how to sell themselves to make tips. In the end I could’ve made a deal and sent my food back or just not have paid the bill but I didn’t do anything besides deal with the dissatisfaction of the service, pay my bill, and go home just to go to bed...
Read moreOh boy! This is not the norm when I visit the Cheese cake factory and in fact my 1st bad review ever towards them, but they have to know and understand why I am providing this information. Let's start with checking in we where advised there will be a 40 min wait we where like ok. Time went by and past 40 min we approached the staff and they advised they are waiting for a table, another 15 min went by now they advised the table they where waiting on are taking longer to leave and I was like you have over 100 tables in here surely you can seat us somewhere party of 4. Another 10 min passes by and Ya we get a table after waiting over one hour. Then we are seated. Server Nick very nice and polite took our orders. I asked for the Angel Hair Pasta w/shrimp. Let me first explain I ordered this because it has the less sauce advertised as my tummy does not do well with to much pasta sauce. Out came out starters, drinks and then main course. My meal looked like it was pasta drowned in soup as you will see in the picture provided and also take a look at the ingredients of the meal. I was like ok let me try to separate the angel hair from the sauce . I tried but it was so soaked in it. I brought this to the server attention and all he could do was say do you want me to bring back to the kitchen to remake. At this time my tummy was feeling the sauce and I asked if i could have it to go. Well to my surprise he came out with a small container with angel hair and sauce on it, I was like OMG. I remained silent which was not like me but I was like I will do his another way and that brings me here. Basically I $24.95 for a dish that was not provided as advertised and the chef should be addressed by this. Estero Cheese cake factory will not be a future restaurant for us to visit.
F.Y.I - A touch of Marinara sauce. More like the whole can.
Would love to hear from the restaurant Manager from this restaurant.
L.M NFM. UPDATE 2/28/2024 I replied to the managers response and I also emailed them as suggested and too no surprise I have yet to...
Read moreWe decided to go to lunch at this cheesecake factory. We sat outside. We have cousins visiting from out of town and wanted to take them out for a nice lunch. Our server was Madeline. By far the worst service i have ever had at a Cheesecake Factory. First off she didn’t even seem awake and ready for her tasks. We ordered appetizers and main entrees. The appetizers took a unusually long time to come. She didn’t bring any bread to the table voluntarily, we had to ask her way into waiting for the apps. Then the entrees took forever and when we asked her when the food was coming she replied it’s coming up soon and walked away without even clearing our dirty appetizer plates. So I stacked them up ready for her to take the next time she decided to mosey on down to our table. When my dish came my steak was extremely overcooked and were like inedible hockey pucks. The manager who came out to address the situation basically approached us in the most unfriendly manner and told me that my steak was cooked correctly and that’s how it is. Unbelievable!! She wasn’t even warm or friendly about the situation, so I ordered totally different steak. That then took a long time to come back to the table, which if you get a customer’s food wrong you put it as priority and get it refired asap, (worked in restaurants most my life) anyway they finally brought the new steak entree to me and that was also not cooked to the right temp and guess what I had no steak knife to eat it with; so my sister had to get up and ask someone for one. We then decided to speak to a different manager about the entire situation. She said sorry and said she would be right back, well well she never came back either nor did they do anything for our check. So we got tired of waiting and my sister found a different manager and she then took off my entree. Honestly with the awful service they should have comped more. We were almost there for 3 hours. Horrible, horrible service from the server and manager team. Good luck...
