Panera Bread — Restaurant in Florida

7/16/2022 I am a long time Panera Bread customer and do like their food. But, today I had a disgraceful experience in their Coconut Point, Estero FL store. I placed my order and sat at a table. When my buzzer went off signaling that my food was ready I proceeded to the counter. When I arrived at the counter my food was the only food on the entire counter and there was a person standing in front of it blocking my access to the food. I tried to reach for it but could not get past the person to reach it. She turned around and looked at me then turned her back to me again without moving and responding in any way. I said in a normal voice that I would like to get my food. She (Meghan - turned out to be the manager) gave me a dirty look and pushed my food across the counter knocking the sandwich off the plate. I then asked her if I could get some condiments which she was blocking also. She nearly threw them across the counter. I told her I did not understand her rude behavior and she yelled that is it, I am calling security. Security came to my table and said I have to leave. I told him what happened and he said he understood and suggested that I let "Panera" corporate know what happened. I asked for a refund for my meal and "Meghan" said that is not going to happen. I asked for take-out boxes to take my meal and she gave me a "Dirty" box. I gathered my food and left. She yelled at me on the way out the door that her name was Meghan and to make sure that I spelled it right. As a human being, let alone an employee I would apologize to anyone that I was unintentionally standing in their way. I can not understand how anyone can keep a job with such behavior. I see by the comments that it appears to be a common occurrence at this location. Good food. Decent prices. Unbelievably terrible customer...

HORRIBLE customer service from the guy and girl at take out! I ordered several items for pick up for my coworkers and I on 9/2 around early afternoon. I get there and picked up my food, got to my car, opened up the bag to make sure everything was in there, and I'm missing an item from my "You pick 2". I go in and told the guy that my grilled cheese wasn't in the bag. They insisted it was in a separate bag in the order... so I went to my car again to check... still wasnt in the bag. I went back inside, told them it was definitely missed. The guy looked at me like I was lying and gave me an attitude. I said I just wanted the grilled cheese I ordered, and he and the girl through the window kept saying they put it in the bag... so I asked if they wanted me to bring the bag back inside so they could see, he looked at me and said yes. I said "are you serious?"... I went outside. Got the bag... showed them no grilled cheese, and after looking at it for the 4th time now, I saw they also forgot my side. TWO OUT OF THREE items they forgot. They handed me my food and didn't even bother apologizing. They insisted I was lying the entire time over a GRILLED CHEESE and CHIPS, as though I was trying to steal food.... This was the worst customer service I have ever recieved here and not a single apology came my way. They just handed my food and looked at me snotty like they were happy I was leaving. I won't return to this location again. These people should not be in customer...

If I could give location a 0 I would but that’s not an option. First of all ordering was a nightmare, the tablets would say they were sold out of the breads or the soups when other tablets said it wasn’t. Ordered the food, way overpriced for pre-made foods that get heated up… We sit and others are waiting as well, a customer simply asked how much longer their order will be and this lady with split black and blonde hair yelled “we are behind, if you want your food so badly come back here and make yourself.” which caught my family’s attention and others… honestly so unprofessional. the customer who asked how much longer there food would be was listening to the lady who has blonde and black screaming and complaining about it. we ordered our food at 6:00 and we didn’t get our food till 6:50. 50 minutes! We got mac and cheese and you could totally tell it was in a premade baggie which just got put on a plate and served. it was cold. this place is very disgusting with service and the food is way much worse. the blonde and black hair lady needs to be fired. swearing at customers, really?! I don’t even live in this state and i’ll ashamed for this company. horrible. go somewhere else don’t waste...
