The food was sooo good for breakfast! I dont know how many times we drive by this place and missed it in the plaza. So glad we found it. Recommend the breakfast quesadilla, avocado toast and lattes.
5/7/21 Went for late brunch and ordered the skinny omelet. Came with English muffin and fruit. Also washed it down with the raspberry mocha latte....which is not skinny.....to balance my meal. Really flavorful. Sat outside on this nice sunny day. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive!
9/10/21 Brought family and they never disappoint here! Hardly any leftovers here. Avocado toast, breakfast quesadilla, French toast, pancakes, and hash all delicious! Great lattes too. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Normally busy on weekends but our party of 6 didn't have to wait. Service was fast and friendly....and when food is brought to tables its not auctioned off! Fantastic experience.
12/26. Avocado toast is sooooo good. And my husband loves the tacos!
3/25/22 We havent been here in awhile and decided to take a trip for some lattes and brunch. Of course I had to get the avocado toast.....but, there were so many tempting options making it really hard for me to stick to that. Always delicious. My husband had the 3-for.....half sandwhich, soup and salad. The seafood bisque always a fave. You really can't go wrong ordering here. Not is only the food really great, but the appearance is always so appealing too.
Sat at the breakfast counter and our server super cordial and welcoming. Prices always reasonable.
4/2/22 portobello blue omlette with potatoes and Raisin toast on special along with shrimp tacos with clam chowder soup. Arrived hot and delicious.
5/27/22 ordered more fantastic breakfast and coffee items. You can't go wrong with anything you order.
10/22 disappointed for the first time with my visit. The expresso machine was unavailable so no lattes available. And the fruit with my breakfast was terrible...the strawberries where white and raw. This is not typical. The rest of the...
Read moreUnfortunately my first Bad experience at this establishment. A short wait was obvious as people were outside when I parked. Walked in and asked the hostess if the bar was open seating. She said let me check if there is anyone waiting, looked at the list and said no go right ahead. I made my way over and the server/bartender asked me to wait so he could wipe the area first. I did and he sat me down, saw a friend who was already there and we moved to sit together. About 5 minutes later the owner walked over with two groups of people, a three and two person group. The long side of the bar was completely empty when I sat down. She said to me are you finished we have people coming in.... I said no ma’am I just sat down. She said you can’t sit here. I said I have been sitting here for almost 5 minutes. I also explained that I asked the hostess if the bar was available and she told me yes. She said NO SHE DIDN’T! I again repeated that I was told I could sit at the bar. I then explained I could move either to the right or left to accommodate the two groups she was bringing over. She then said THAT IS NOT TRUE, we have a list, what is your name. I said David but I am not on a list, I was told I could sit here. She sat the two parties, again plenty of room at the bar. Walked away huffing clearly agitated. I assumed she would go speak to the hostess to confirm my story and return with an apology..... NOPE! As an owner of a small business myself I am appalled at how I was treated and will no longer support this local business. The group of three that she sat next to me commented they couldn’t believe how she acted, how loud she was and how rude she was in handling the situation. it was their first visit and they said they will not be returning! Can’t blame them, told them it was my last visit as well! Treat people the way you want to be treated, customer service is key! Especially during these...
Read moreWas less than impressed with my first visit to the Granary. Maybe my expectations were too high. The food was just okay - nothing was extraordinary and nothing was bad. Was just average, which was disappointing since the prices are so high, I expected the food the be extraordinary.
My son had French toast, just French toast, which consisted of TWO slices of French toast. Two. No sides, no eggs nothing else. This meal was nearly $12 for two slices of bread. A cup of coffee was over $4. A standard cup of coffee. Not a latte, not anything fancy. Just coffee. Orange juice? Almost $5 a cup, and not an oversized glass or anything. A small mason jar that they called “large”.
The service was not great either. We were seated right away, but our server took forever to even greet us. Then took our drink orders and dashed away instead of letting us finish our order - which we were fully prepared to give all at once. Drinks were dropped and he disappeared again, even though we indicated that we were ready to order. He eventually returned to take our order. Maybe he noticed I was visibly irritated or maybe it was just a coincidence. Food was delivered faster than I expected, based on our experience with our server. A pleasant surprise. Our server not once checked on us during our meal - didn’t ask how the food was, didn’t stop to see if we needed drink refills or anything else, at least not until he noticed other servers were clearing our plates from the table. That’s when he asked to top off my coffee (which I declined). I requested our check, paid and left.
The whole experience left a lot to be desired. I get that prices are higher for lots of things, we still felt our meal was overpriced for what...
