We decided to give this place a shot after they slid their flyer under our door at the Tampa Mariott. I wish I would have read the other reviews before ordering.. we would have saved ourselves the time and annoyance in dealing with the rude and ignorant workers there. They initially told us that it would be 45min-1hr until we would get the pizza. After about an hour and getting hungrier by the minute, my husband called to get an ETA. His call was answered by a very rude little boy that stated “you only called 30 minutes ago” (when we called wayy over 30 minutes ago.) He said our food was ANOTHER 40 mins to an hour out. He could also hear other workers in the background yelling, “He just called!!” Like.. the fact that we decided to give their business a try was a hassle to them..lol.
We decided to cancel the order because 1. We were not wanting to wait another who knows how long to eat mediocre pizza. And 2. The customer service was so rude we didn’t want to give them our money. My husband actually asked for the manager because he was talking to the cashier that stated he couldn’t do anything. My husband then reiterated that he wanted to cancel the order. And they then HUNG UP on him. My husband owns a successful business and understands that every now and then you’ll hire someone that will reflect poorly on your business so he tries to be understanding in situations like this. So whoever the owner of Tianis is.. I hope you see this and revaluate the people you have working for you. Especially since these 1 star reviews are common for your business. We are also going to let the Mariott know that your flyers should probably not be solicited there because their guest will just be set up for annoyance.
TIP for anyone that had to deal with a similar situation here: if you call your credit card company and explain the situation you can dispute the charge. We got our charge reimbursed...
Read moreThe only reason I am giving a rating of 2 is because the wonderful customer service I recieved from Eric and Eric alone. If it wasnt for him I would definently be giving a 1 star. I ordered my food thru Door dash, and realized I forgot to change the address the food needed to go to (we were at a hotel not home) I called immediately spoke to Eric and he said that it was fine he will take care of it,amd that someone would call back in 5 min to confirm, I never got the call so I called again just to make sure everything was still ok with the address change since Eric advised us they were slammed busy. Well I spoke to a different person when I called, Im assuming it was the owner, when I explained the situation to him he immediately started yelling at me, and the other empoyees in the background started screaming qt him that I need to call doordash (which btw does not have a number to call) Im trying to explain this to the rude person I was talking to, and he just kept yelling at me and yelling at his rude disrespectful obnoxious employees, till finally I hear Eric come on the line and handled the situation in a calm collective manner, he was so sweet and sounded so caring and ready to address the situation. Long story short Tianis is lucky to have someone like Eric to be able to not crack under pressure when the going gets tough and they are slammed with orders as for everyone else learn how not crack under pressure be happy that your business is booming, because yelling at your customers and the animals you have working for you who have no respect is bad for business. Once again THANK YOU SO MUCH ERIC FOR HAVING EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. EVERYONE CAN LEARN A THING OR...
Read moreThere is a reason this place has a 3.3 rating. I placed an order with them for the first time on 8/13/20 and had several issues with my order. My pizza came with no sauce on it, the breadstick that came with my overcooked pasta was as hard as a rock and resembled a dead branch on a tree more than it did a bread stick. Unfortunately the branch would have been easier to chew. Altogether I spent $54 which included over nine dollars for delivery. That was without a doubt the best part of my order and I wish the driver had got lost on his way. Knowing what I now know I would have paid him $10 to save my family from that experience. When I contacted Tiani's all they said was everything was made fresh and I basically would just have to accept that. If you are going to order pizza from this place I would double check the food before you pay for it if you can. Their customer service was as bad or worse than the food. The only good thing that came from this horrendous experience is that I will never have to waste another penny at Tiani's. Order at your own risk. I would have gave them less than a star if I could have. The management was even more vile than the food. I would rather starve to death than ever have to go...
