Update. Labor Day 2023. Not sure what happened to this place but the staff looks like all new people except for one older lady but we brought another big family like ours and there were too many issues to list. From telling our friends their kids couldn't get the "scoop of the day" with their kids meal or it would cost extra, to messed up orders, to another lady trying to charge me .25 cents for an extra cup after paying $70 for our meals. The staff looked miserable and were argumentative which never used to be this way here is too bad. I get fast food sucks but we bagged about this place and was embarrassing how our friends were treated along with the miserable service today.
Come to think of it it's also kind of weird I've never heard from the owner like many of the 100's of reviews I've posted which get feedback from owners especially considering how many good reviews I've given this location and my reviewer rating. It's probably a good thing considering how much we spend here. Overall Culver's is still a good chain people can try compared to other fast food but for the price you're better off going to a restaurant where staff at least pretend to be happy for a good tip.
Funny how this was one of my many great comments on this same store. This is absolutely no longer the case. North Port may actually be better now 😳.
(Old Post...) It's sad a fast food place tops the best places to eat around here but from food to service this place is the best. Other Culver's are pretty good (except the one in North Port what a miserable place) but this place never disappoints. The employees are respectful and actually seem to take pride in their work either they're treated well or management just hires good people and it's been this way over a year so hoping they keep it up. If you own a restaurant around here come see how your place should be run and how employee's should act I hope these guys are well compensated since I spend a small fortune at this place but...
Read moreSo I’m stuck in this difficult position as a person that writes reviews, because I’d like to be nice, but I need to be honest, and the two are directly in conflict here. The place was remarkably empty inside.
I hope you know what you want and what’s on it, because the overhead menu is almost entirely text, with no description of what to expect in each sandwich. The sandwich names are ambiguous. Best of luck. By the way, the combo meals are called “baskets” even though only the fries come in a basket. I suppose I appreciate that though, because I have no idea how to drink soda from a basket.
The floor in the ordering area was sticky, like a poorly kept movie theater. It’s really gross. I’m not sure what happened there, but I think someone’s soda basket must have spilled.
The ice dispensers were both completely empty and I had to flag down the drive-through cashier to help me because the person that was putting together the orders had their back turned and stayed that way even when we tried to get their attention.
I ordered a double and got a single. I looked at the slip for my order and sure, it was on there as a double. Or maybe I misunderstood what “double” means when we’re talking burgers. There we go again, back to the whole “not knowing what to expect” problem.
Three separate but simple orders that were put in over a span of two minutes were brought out over a span of fifteen minutes. We have no idea what got lost.
This isn’t my first not-so-great experience here, but at least there was a major storm last year to blame. Maybe they haven’t recovered yet? I don’t know. The only time I ever come here now is because someone else asked to.
For the corporate person that reads reviews like these (I hope you actually do), no, I won’t be emailing you with more details. Feel free to send some occasional “mystery shopper” patrons that way, and definitely do it across multiple shifts and days...
Read moreWe recently dined at Culver’s, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.
Upon entering, we were immediately struck by the clean, inviting atmosphere and the warm, friendly welcome from the staff. The restaurant’s layout made it easy to navigate, and the menu was clear, simplifying the ordering process.
Culver’s is renowned for its ButterBurgers and fresh custard, and they truly lived up to their reputation. The ButterBurgers were incredibly flavorful, with a perfectly toasted bun that added a delightful crunch. Each burger was cooked to perfection with top-notch ingredients, making for a satisfying and enjoyable meal.
The sides were equally impressive. The Crinkle-Cut Fries were crispy and golden, and the Cheese Curds were deliciously gooey and savory. We also enjoyed the Onion Rings, which had a crispy coating and great seasoning.
For dessert, the custard was a highlight. Rich and creamy, it was available in a variety of flavors, ensuring there was something for everyone. The Turtle Sundae, in particular, was a standout with its perfect combination of chocolate, caramel, and nuts.
Service at Culver’s was exceptional. The staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring our food arrived quickly and just as we ordered. The restaurant was well-maintained, with clean tables and a pleasant dining environment.
Overall, our visit to Culver’s was fantastic. With delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s a great choice for a meal. If you’re in the mood for a great burger, tasty sides, and a decadent dessert, Culver’s is definitely...
