The absolute worst customer service experience. A simple refund inquiry turned into police being called out. Last Saturday, we ordered via the tropical smoothie app. When the dasher delivered the items and we asked about a missing smoothie, the dasher explained that he asked the store where the 4th item was and they simply stated it was only 3. We immediately called to inquire about a refund and was told to order a cookie and they’ll have it sent out with another dasher (seriously?) or come in the following day when the manager was around. When we again asked how can we get the refund via the app, they hung up. We called back and asked if we could not get to the store, how would we be able to get the funds. We also asked which app to request the refund through (tropical smoothie or dasher), they again hung up. I proceeded to call from my cell and immediately asked for the name and employee ID to call corporate. They again, hung up. In the midst of this, my husband went to the store to obtain the refund. When he walked in, the missing smoothie was waiting and he was told that the refund (the same one we would need to come to the store to get) was applied. As he was leaving the store (without the smoothie and no receipt showing the refund adjustment), the lead told him she called police. WHAT?! How does a simple refund inquiry turn into cops being called out? Please train your team on proper customer service etiquette and the use/understanding of the app. This entire situation could have 100% been avoided.
Police did come out…3 to be exact and they were just as confused as we were as to why they were called out after explaining. We were told to contact corporate as we were planning to. I did send over the details, including pics of the police at the store and someone responded and said the refund would be issued. That was it! Read moreI love the ladies in the morning. I would have given this place a 5 stars if it wasn't for the employees that work in the afternoon evening hours. It's super unfortunate because I know the women in the morning work very hard and are just overall good with their job. They are polite, welcoming, and attentive. I always get a warm welcome when I come in the mornings.
But the younger men that work in the afternoon when the managers are gone can NEVER get an order right. I literally order the same thing EVERYDAY! It's sad I can tell who is working by how my smoothie is made. I can't have too much sugar, so I sub mine for Splenda. Sometimes, they blend it and others, which seems to be at all the worst times when I'm rushing to work or don't have time to babysit them to make sure they blend it. But at the worst times, they don't blend it. To the point you're sipping chunks of whey protein, ice that gets stuck in the straw, etc. It's gotten to the point where I will no longer order Uber eats from them because they will forget straws, chips that come with your sandwich, or make an entirely different smoothie than what you ordered. It's SUPER frustrating, but when the sticker on the smoothie cup says one thing and you end up putting an entirely different smoothie in it, I can't trust that they are following any other instructions.

The young man (has glasses) that took our order and made our smoothies was so polite and helpful. The problem and unprofessional comes in with the two young woman in the back (which can be seen from the seats) are hugged up and laughing while the young man is doing everything else.(look it up on your camera for today 5:41pm on Dec 8th. The one young woman comes up to make sandwiches (which mine was cold) and then goes back being hugged up. I honestly felt sorry for the young gentleman and he kept apologizing for the wait.
