Turtle Roll Homemade Ice Cream & Shaved Ice - Navarre — Restaurant in Florida

The ice cream was delicious (Bear Claw sundae) this review is about the service which unfortunately I will have to say was just awful. No one asked me if I was ready to order, if I wanted to sample flavors, the basic customer service standards. I wasn’t greeted and I was barely acknowledged. It was strange because I was the only person in the shop. It’s almost like my presence annoyed the employees and I was interrupting their social hour. There were whispers and giggles as if they were gossiping about me while I was deciding on a flavor. It was incredibly awkward. By the time I realized that I had to go around the counter to order, between the 3 employees, it seemed like none of them really wanted to take my order. I asked for a sundae and was prepared to be asked what kind of toppings I wanted but no questions were asked, I was handed the sundae so swiftly across the top of the counter that the cherry fell off and on to the counter. I looked at the cherry, made eye contact with the female and they all looked away and ignored that the cherry had fallen off the sundae. Literally just ignored me. I was going to use the restroom but the toilet was almost overflowing with toilet paper and feces so I got out of there quickly. Like I said, Great ice cream.. but 0/10 service experience. I understand that they are kids and it was late ( 9pm )… but if you don’t want to be there then get another job. Won’t be returning simply because of this very...

I had gone with a somewhat large order to take home to my family. We were visiting for the 4th weekend. Before ordering, I let the staff know that I had a big order and also made sure there was no line or anything behind me. Every time I ordered another item, the girl taking my order would look to the other guy in the truck and smile. I’m not sure what she was smiling at but it didn’t feel like it was coming from a good place. After checking out, I noticed my total was little higher than what I had expected and anticipated. I got my receipt text to me and was not able to look at it until a little later and found out I was charged for a whole another ice cream that I had not ordered nor received. I have gone 2 ways about letting them know so I could get a refund for the extra ice cream, but I have not heard back from them and it’s been a few days. 🐢🍦 This little ice cream shop is a slice of sugary heaven. The ice cream is homemade (yes, homemade, people!), with unique flavors that’ll blow your flip-flops off. The three awesome girls working the counter were like ice cream wizards, helping us find the perfect scoops. 🎩✨

I got the banana moonpie in a waffle cone, and OH. MY. GOODNESS. It tasted like a banana laffy taffy married a pie and created the most delicious lovechild ever. 🥹🍌 It was out of this world! If I lived nearby, my bank account and waistline would be in serious trouble because this would be a daily stop for sure.

The moment you walk through the door, the smell of freshly made waffle cones and sugary magic hits you like a warm hug. It's almost too much to handle—but in the best way possible. 😍 This place is 100% legit and the perfect cherry on top of a sunny day in Navarre. ☀️🍒
