Nestled in the heart of Navarre Beach, Florida, the Wah Gwaan Jerk Food Truck is a vibrant culinary gem that brings the rich, bold flavors of Jamaica to the Gulf Coast. My recent visit to this food truck was nothing short of a delightful gastronomic adventure, and the “Land & Sea” plate I savored left an indelible mark on my taste buds. The Dish: Land & Sea: The “Land & Sea” plate is a harmonious blend of land and sea, featuring succulent red snapper and tender pork, both cooked to perfection. The red snapper was a standout, with its flaky texture and subtly spiced seasoning that transported me straight to the Caribbean. The pork, equally impressive, was juicy and flavorful, with a hint of smokiness that complemented the fish beautifully. Accompaniments: Rice and Beans: The rice and beans were a comforting and hearty side, cooked just right with a perfect balance of flavors. Each bite was a reminder of the soulful essence of Jamaican cuisine. Plantain: The plantains were a sweet and savory delight, caramelized to perfection, adding a lovely contrast to the savory elements of the dish. Festival: The festival, a kind of sweet fried cornbread, was a revelation. Its crispy exterior and soft, slightly sweet interior made it an irresistible treat that I couldn’t get enough of. Ambiance and Service: The Wah Gwaan Jerk Food Truck exudes a welcoming and lively atmosphere, with the tantalizing aroma of jerk spices wafting through the air. The staff were friendly and attentive, eager to share their passion for Jamaican cuisine with every customer. Their warm hospitality added to the overall experience, making it not just a meal, but a memorable culinary journey. Conclusion: Wah Gwaan Jerk Food Truck is a must-visit for anyone in Navarre Beach looking to indulge in authentic Jamaican flavors. The “Land & Sea” plate is a testament to their culinary prowess, offering a delightful mix of textures and tastes that will leave you craving more. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by and treat yourself to a taste of Jamaica right...
Read moreWell where do we start, this is our 2nd time at the food truck in 2 months. The young girl who takes the orders is very rude, I just thought I caught her on a bad day the 1st time, but now with this being the 2nd visit and there were no hours posted on the outside of the truck, I was the only 1 outside, I didnt know they were closed. I checked the online hours and it said open. We'll this occurrence happened at 2:58 she could have politely told me ma'am we reopen at 3 and we will be able to take care of u then, but instead the hostile woman copped an attitude and slammed the sliding door behind her as if I was causing a problem by asking if they were open, I know before I drove down here the online hours said they opened at 830 this morning.
I know I'm just 1 person and this review doesn't mean much to you, but many people will read it and now they will think twice about spending their money with you
Navarre I can't see spending my hard earned money on pure rudeness, so I left and spent my money else where. See you could have had my money, but u didn't want it. God doesn't like ugly and if u expect your business to go FURTHER you need a reality check, we dont have to spend our hard earned money with...

The food tasted pretty dang good. As a Puerto Rican I’m picky on rice so I can take or leave the rice. But the Mac and cheese, the jerk chicken and the plantains were so freaking good! The festival bread alone is so good and different than regular bread. The plantains again were so good! IF YOU LIKE HOT SAUCE THIS PLACE IS PERFECT FOR YOU!! I’m so excited to eat my left overs for lunch tomorrow. Let’s keep in mind I can eat and put away food but this plate was so full I could not finish it! Will...
