If you’re craving authentic Cuban pastries done right, Vicky Bakery on Bird Road is a must-visit. Their guava pastelitos are absolutely heavenly—flaky, buttery, and filled with just the right amount of sweet guava that melts in your mouth. Every pastry I’ve tried here has been top-notch—freshly baked, flavorful, and made with love. You can tell they take pride in quality and tradition.
The cleanliness of the bakery is also impressive. From the moment you walk in, everything is spotless and organized, including the display cases and dining area. It gives you full confidence that they care about hygiene just as much as they do about flavor.
As for the service—wow. The staff is incredibly fast, friendly, attentive, and professional. Even during busy hours, you’re greeted with a smile and served efficiently without feeling rushed. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy with your order.
Vicky Bakery on Bird Road is truly a gem in the community. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast on the go or treating yourself to an afternoon cafecito and pastelito, this spot never disappoints.

Read moreI’m from out of town but my last stop before heading home is to find a Vicky bakery since I was staying on bird road my friend told me about this new location. I was very excited but very disappointed! My husband ordered a rum cake to try while we waited and first it was mislaid and second his fork broke trying to eat the so called rum cake that wasn’t! We love the pasta de bocaditos and sure enough that was the only thing that they didn’t have available! As I sit here in the car driving back home I sure hope that after spending close to $90 I sure hope that the other things I purchased are good. We asked for 4 pastelitos of each and the girl stuffed them all into one small box! Let’s see what kind of a mess I will find! It’s a big shame that these new franchises are bringing this 5 star bakery into a money machine and don’t care about their products or customers! Never again it’s the original Vicky bakery or down to...

Website promises curbside pickup → doesn’t exist
Staff was rude instead of apologizing
Food was dry, bland, and overpriced. I came to Vickie’s Bakery on Bird Road at 9:36 a.m. expecting curbside pickup, since their website very clearly offers it. I followed the instructions, clicked the link when I arrived — and nothing happened. After waiting a few minutes, I went inside. The store was empty, but when I asked why my order wasn’t brought out, the young woman with brown hair snapped, “We don’t do that.”
Not once did she apologize or acknowledge that their website misleads customers. Instead, she argued with me, as if it was my fault for following their directions. A simple “sorry, our website is wrong” would have been enough.
To top it off, the food was dry, bland, and overpriced. Miami has plenty of bakeries that treat customers well and serve food worth eating. Vickie’s isn’t...
