Waffle House — Restaurant in Florida

This is now one of my favorite Waffle House locations. First of all, it’s super clean and has great food. It had a variety of customers, seems like everyone is welcome. And the service was excellent. Sam was our server, and she went above and beyond. We were sharing a couple of items, one of which came with hashbrowns. I told my partner to order them how she wanted them. She ordered with cheese and onions. I said, “no, you don’t like onions” and she said, “you like them and I’m ok with it.” I told Sam the server to order them with no onions. We place our order and when Sam brings it to us, she has the hashbrowns with only cheese, and another plate with only grilled onions. She said, “I know she doesn’t like onions but you do, so I had them make some on the side for you.” She listened, paid attention, and did something nice that she wasn’t even asked to do. That is excellent service, and a thoughtful person. We watched Sam interact with the other customers and she was that friendly and helpful to everyone. We need more people like Sam in service. We need more people like Sam everywhere. She deserves recognition. And all of the other employees were super nice as well, and getting things done. We will be coming back to this...

I’ve never went to a Waffle House before. And I am impressed. Here are some details of my experience. The food was amazing. I got a chocolate waffle and it was outstanding. The building was good. It was old school styled and I personally don’t like that too much. It did hit the theme spot on though.

The service was great. Rhea (our waitress) was hilarious. She got everything on the plate. Something really nice was that the waffle came first, then the side dish. It was great getting everything to me as fast as possible. She played a funny joke with the milk. The got out a jug of milk and put it on the counter. I thought she was being serious but she then got out the actual cup. She also gave us a piece of candy when we were done. She also gave us hugs on the way out. She gave me two after I said “I’m giving this place 5 stars.”

In conclusion I loved this restaurant and hopefully I can return as fast as possible. If you want some breakfast and you’re close by, go get some waffles at the...

Ok so here we go again I continue to try to give this dive of a restaurant a chance I really do however this morning was the last straw I paid 41.00 for two breakfast bowls and two waffles seriously ok but can you at least make the meal correct we ask for over easy eggs and still they are scrambled waffles raw around the edge grits that’s mostly water not edible. Would probably be better getting food from dumpster at least then you know it’s garbage I am filing a complaint with my credit card company to stop payment and supposedly will the manager will be reaching out I really doubt that it will happen I am a completely unsatisfied customer who expects a meal that cost 41$ to at least be prepared I a clean and sanitized kitchen I will also be posting this review on Facebook yelp and anywhere I can to let people know to avoid gulf breeze Waffle House as they are very rude and dirty people who obviously don’t care about what the...
