Wendy's — Restaurant in Florida

Wendy's at this location (5420 Manatee Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34209), is the worst place we've visited while here and we come out to Coquina Beach often during the summer and always stop at a Wendy's for breakfast. This is the second time we've stopped at this specific location and both times we've had issues. The first time we ordered the food and (thankfully we were going to park and eat) opened the bag, we found that one of the sandwiches were incorrect and another only had half the bun 🤔🤔🤔??? Don't know how THAT happens, but whatever! So we drove around to the window again and the woman opened the window and seemed very put out that we were there to get our order fixed, like it was OUR FAULT the food was given that way! This time we stopped and there's a sign on the window that CLEARLY SAYS-""" dining room closed, DRIVE THRU HOURS 7am- 11pm""". We pulled up to the microphone about 7:10am and sat there for several minutes before pulling up to the window, where we sat for several more minutes before someone opened the window and looked at us like we were stupid, just staring, not saying one word! So we asked if they were open and all the women did was shake her head, like it was too much to speak, so I pointed at the sign with the DRIVE THRU HOURS and asked about it and all she did was shrug her shoulders. EDIT: Post pandemic, this store is usually only drive thru. Occasionally you get lucky and the dining room is open, but I have yet to figure out how you know if it's open or not. I thought it was when they put out their sign, but they've had it out before and the dining room was locked, so...?

They ARE fast, though, and I have not had any problems with my orders being right in a long time. It used to be almost every time something was wrong. We live within walking distance, so driving here to go through the drive thru is stupid, but that's what we have to do, so we usually only go here on our way home from somewhere else.

They will not let you walk through the drive thru. Yeah, I've tried. Not recently, but in the past. It's a safety issue.

I've given it an extra ⭐ because, even though it's a little bit of a pain being drive thru only basically, the accuracy seems to have greatly improved. This store has a high turn over because it's mostly Hispanics who can't speak English. It all depends on the manager...

It is very unfortunate what goes on at this wendy's location manatee avenue. Sadly we have visited the location again today. This will he our 3rd and last time. They continue to serve rotten sweet tea. adding insult to injury they (drive through staff), upon being made aware of the unacceptable occurance of serving fluids unfit for human consumption became argumentative and refused to take any responsibility for serving us filthy rotten disgusting "sweet tea"( whatever was in those 2 large cups didn't resemble the taste of sweet tea. I hope these people will either learn from their egregious mistakes and succeed at doing better or burn in hell for 1 thousand eternities. My adviceAVOID this manatee avenue location...
