The guest service experience I had tonight at my local Wendy’s was the worst. All I wanted was a Vanilla Frosty because I have been craving one for a couple days now. I have gone to this specific Wendy’s before and it always has just below average in service and food. I always ignored it because to be honest I don’t go there for the service, the main reason just for the affordable food. Earlier tonight I went by just for a medium vanilla frosty. I was going to do the drive-thru but being they were 6 cars I thought it would be faster to get down. I left my wife and the baby in the car waiting for me. The cashier took my order and I paid, a simple transaction. I do appreciate after I ordered the cashier told the other workers that I just had a Medium vanilla frosty, so they can get it done quicker and I didn’t have to wait so long. Then while I was standing right there in front of the counter the one worker serving the ice cream says out loud “we probably don’t have anymore so tell him no”. Minutes went by and still no message directed towards me about the no ice cream. A couple minutes went by again and my name gets called. I went up to the counter and was told “Sorry don’t have vanilla, chocolate is fine?” I personally don’t like chocolate, so it was not fine. I told her no and she immediately offered me a refund, without trying to recover in any other way. At this point I am fine, a little bothered but its ok. But then I waited about 7 minutes for them to find the manager to give me a refund. She finally comes up and DOES NOT acknowledge me at all, does the refund on the POS and gives the worker the money to give to me. She then walks away looking bothered and annoyed. I got the money and was told a monotone “sorry.”
The main thing that escalated the situation for me was the managers lack of involvement in the situation. Just from standing there for a few minutes I noticed the manager, to what seemed like a busy night, was not helping at all. All the employees look frustrated and desperate for some help. I heard the girl at the window yell “I need change ASAP I don’t have anything but 5’s”, another worker then yelled back “We don’t know where she is so that’s all you got, work with it”. Also, none of the cooks were wearing gloves or hairnets while working with the food. And for her to ignore a guest that has been waiting for a frosty/refund for about 15 minutes, is completely disappointing. I would put names to better match the employees but not one person was wearing a name tag. This might not be a requirement, but I couldn’t see anyone with one. And plus they were about 4 more families in front of me angrily waiting for their food, so I’m not too sure how long this restaurant has been suffering tonight. I will not be returning to this location...
Read moreI'll give them two stars because the food came out fast and tasted great., However, they get zero stars for customer service. I was rushed through my order over the intercom even though there was literally nobody else in the drive through for them to want to rush me. I told them I had the T-Mobile free SMALL Frosty and when I got my order they handed over a Frosty Jr... I wonder how T-Mobile would feel about you treating their loyal customers this way... Oh wait, I already do know because they re-issued my free small Frosty coupon and told me to try another location and to give them the location that did this, so good luck explaining that to your boss as to why you're going to get contact from T-Mobile about giving their customers the shaft with a Frosty Jr instead of the small... Also, very RUDE and it was like they were saying in their minds "Just get this customer gone so we don't have to do anything and get paid to do it"... Ridiculous! I have numerous other dining options in the area like Miller's Ale House where I can get good service and a mountain melt for a little over what I paid for "cheap" fast food! If you're going to be in the fast food business at least offer up better service because with prices going up and sit down restaurants becoming more affordable with better service, that's all you have is how well you treat your customers... Reviews say it all at a grand total of 2.6 stars! In fact, Red Robin just recently opened up across the street too... GO THERE!!!! Better service, better burgers (FRESH TOO!!!) and overall better price for what you get in service AND food... Tired of fast food joints thinking that they don't have to have good service anymore... And those "Pay us $15/hour" rallies... EARN IT THEN!!! Don't just treat people like crap and...
Read moreThe worst and when I say the worst Wendy's I have ever in my life encountered. Went in yesterday night at about 11:15pm paid for food that I never got called and spoke to the manager mark and he apologized and told me he would replace the order the following night so tonight I went in through the drive thru window got yelled at by the manager and when I say yelled at she full on yelled at me and I sure am not a person that will deal with yelling but I did then I get home put the salad in the fridge a few hours later get it out to eat it and the chili is missing so I call the restaurant she tells me oh well and hangs up on me four times....most rudest lady I have ever encountered....unless u like being treated like trash I would never go there. Maria is the worst manager I have ever encountered a fast food manager to have on board as a team members or a manager. When u tell her you just need your chili replaced she will then proceed to tell u to call her area coach Steven to take it off and if you ask her nicely to please just give u the missing chili she will proceed to threaten to call the police the team member next to her is nicer and asks like a manager better then her. Let's she if a manager actually calls back...if I was anyone reading this I would never go to this Wendy's ever at all worst one I have ever encountered and I come from New England I have been to Wendy's up and down the east coast never encountered one like this before ever in my...
