I was really excited to see this nail salon open up in the area as I live in Champions Gate but been traveling to Orlando to get my nails done for several years. I decided to give the salon a try and was pleasantly greeted by staff. The salon is beautifully decorated and clean. Moreover, today marks 7 days since I had my nails and pedicure done at Lee Nails & Spa. I have to admit that I'm very dissatisfied with the work performed on my nails and feet. I paid $177 for hombre nails and french manicure/pedicure, and a refill (read further below) for my daughter. I should've known that sitting on a spa chair receiving a pedicure for literally 3 HOURS was a bad sign (I get pedicures on a monthly basis and never spent more than an hour and 15 minutes sitting). I informed the technician that I had gel on both nails and feet before even sitting down. She went ahead and attempted to remove the gel topcoats off of my toe nails with a nail filing board, all the while she was filing my skin, cuticles and knuckles in the process. I kept flinching and telling her that she was filing my skin (I was bleeding at this point). She kept apologizing but continued hurting my skin. I honestly believe she couldn't see clearly. Furthermore, I asked if they knew how to do hombre nails (showed them a picture) of which they said they did. Make a long story short, I walked away with the worst expensive nail job and pedicure ever. You can visibly see white lines horizontally across my nails (you're not suppose to see any lines on hombre nails). It's only been 7 days and the gel polish and top coat have been peeling since day 3. Also, the french manicure, which is the only style/color that I've always gotten done, has discolored, turned gray, and the top gel coat is also peeling off. I've always gotten get polish and gel top coat for as long as I can remember, and you literally have to use the nail machine to remove the top coat and apply acetone with cotton balls and aluminum foil to remove. I honestly believe gel polish and get top coats were not utilized. Last but not least, my daughter had requested a refill where another technician literally removed all of her acrylic nails and replaced with a new full set (my daughter had her nails done 2 weeks prior and only needed a refill NOT a new full set). This was a really bad experience for me and my pocket. I regret to admit that I will never step foot in this salon again -- this was my first time and will be my last time. I'd rather commute 80 miles to and from Orlando to obtain great quality work at much more reasonable prices. The 2 stars are for the cleanliness of the salon and the cup of wine.    Read moreI was a REGULAR customer and very happy, even though my beginning here had not been so auspicious! My first visit, I had a tech that was not really very pleasant, but faked it with smile as date argued with everything I wanted and told me what would be best, but eventually did a good job. Everyone else was nice, it was close to my home and clean, do I decided to try again. The next time, the same text grabbed me the moment I walked in, like I was there for her, day I think was trapped! I thought things might go better, but I had wanted something special and she stuff NOT want to do it so she just kept telling me why it wasn't a good idea and did a plain nail job. I didn't have the time it energy to argue that day, but was determined not to get her again! From then on, I asked particularly for another tech or wake by and made sure she was busy when I came in! Eventually, found a tech that I really liked. It's not say ALL cheap! It is difficult communicating as there's always language issues, but I began regular appointments. Then, today, on the edge of my 39th wedding anniversary, after having an appointment that they confirmed NOT ONCE, but, TWICE by text, they leave me a voicemail asking me to call. I'm running behind, but I call, at 4:40, when I receive the message, and they tell me that they will not do both my Mani and Pedi, if I do not come at 5, instead of 6 - the sponge time that we have made for the LAST TWO appointments -- at LEAST! I tell them, that I cannot make it that Don, but that I'm having NOTHING extra done, AND that I've already done the work of taking off my dip powder -- which is a very timely procession -- FOR THEM, So that should cut off a great deal of time, and yet, They still refused to let me come at my point of time. I told him the best I could do is split the difference and rush and I could be there without going home to change, get cleaned up -- or anything -- by 5:30, but they still would not A BUDGE! I told them that I was really disappointed; that I was happy there and then I had brought my daughter, my daughter-in-law, and recommended them to many others. . and how regardless of the fact that I am NOT back to work since COVID, I come regularly! Surely that colleg counted for some costumer loyalty? NOPE! NOTHING they were willing to do AT ALL! EVEN if that meant I'd be GONE! I have NEVER left a review like this before! I'm not an unreasonable person! It was just SO hurtful that they were willing to let my business go rather that with with me to make my anniversary a pleasant one, after all the time, money and recommendations, I've didn't in THEIR behalf -- ESPECIALLY after a less than favorable...
Read moreIâve come to this location for about half a year with the nail technician Kevin, and he usually has done a great job. Today, I booked an appointment for a new full acrylic set (as the last set he gave me was lifting and moisture was getting underneath) and a pedicure. The pedicure was very good, but when I asked for a new full set he wanted to insist upon a fill for my ombrĂŠ even though I wanted different nails. I agreed, as long as the two fingers that were lifting could get a new set. He charged $40 for the fill but said it would amount to $65 for the two nails to get fixed. I asked how much it would be for all my nails to get a new set and he said $65, so in my confusion as to why it was the same price as getting a whole new set, which I wanted when I booked. He was very upset with me and said he could do the new set. He was rough with my hands and cut me several times and normally there is conversation but when I was hurt there was no acknowledgement. I asked for the first set on my right hand with an oval shape and he made it pointy at first and when I requested just a rounded tip he started getting more aggressive telling me to ânot speak until the end and to wait to see everythingâ. I felt uncomfortable so I waited and thatâs when I noticed he did not file the left handâs acrylic down at all, just filed my skin and gave cuts but as you see below it was very thick. I did not mention anything further as I wasnât comfortable and when he was done and said âsee if you like itâ it was 4.5 hours later and I did not feel comfortable asking him to actually file it down anymore and start over when I could have mentioned the preference earlier before the gel set and this was my one day off/I did not have more time. I used to travel to this salon from far away to get manicures and pedicures and was grateful for the service. I now will be searching for a salon that will let me request a service and provide what I am asking/not throw my hands back at me in anger or be rough with my hands because I request a preference for shape/size. See the thickness below. One hand is my right (before he was upset with me) the other is my left (the thick side with lumps). My left hand is covered in micro abrasions that burn. I usually get ombrĂŠ/chrome and pay extra for designs and have never had this experience before but it was so poor that I had to leave my review. See the thickness/bumps below on my left hand. Right is last which was...
