This is the one of the slowest restaurants in Ruskin, but thats just one part of the many problems at this Wendy's. For starters there are two lines one suppose to be for online and mobile orders and the other suppose to be for dine-in, welp for mobile orders allegedly they have to check in the same line as the dine in orders which defeats the purpose of having a mobile and online line, which if you don't ask no one will tell you this good thing I knew this and asked before that wait time started to get too toxic, which wouldn't matter anyway in the long run. After going to the back of the 4 person line I was able to "check in" my mobile/ online order, however I still had to wait an additional 20minutes for the order to finally be ready, BUT once receiving the order the employee put all the good in one bag and the bag ripped apart. Okay no big.deal , so I placed the order back on the table and ask for them to put it in an another bag , only to find them running to the back after placing two paper bags for me to put the order in there myself. As this is going on the manager Krista or however you spelm it watching us out of the corner of her eyes I leave ad immediately came back requesting for the manager Krista looks me dead in my mouth and goes pretend to be on the phone, so I had to ask the cashier for the manager name which is in fact Krista. She approached the desk and proceeds to the table oand ask what do I need. I told her the problem and she acted like she was the most useless person in the entire store. She asked me what do I need for her yo do and I told her the order is on the table can you place it in the bags she looked at me grabs her phone in a threatening manner and walks away. The guy that placed a the food in one bag came back up and handled the situation before it was escalated to a 10 and placed the order in the bag with the help of another worker. With that being said PLEASe do yourself a favor and AVOiD THIS WENDY'S bubbas-bbq is a way better choice with excellent customer service skills and the wait time is not atrocious for...
Read moreI’ve worked in the food industry and I have frequented a lot of restaurants. I can honestly say that my families visit on 05/18/2025 to this Wendy’s location was the worst experience I have ever encountered. First I would like to say I feel bad for the young team members working in this restaurant. I do believe that most of them are trying to do their best but I witnessed first hand that these team members do not have the correct leadership in place for them nor this restaurant to succeed. The restaurant itself was absolutely filthy. Urine and feces all over the bathrooms that had not been cleaned up, the tables/floors/counters were disgusting. There was a chili dipping spoon on top of the food warmer that had dried food on it. The restaurant was out of a lot of items. These included things to make frosty’s with, no tomatoes, none of the correct bowl sizes for chili and the food was luke warm at best. Spent almost $54 at this establishment for my family to eat and at minimum as a customer I expect to get hot and fresh food. No receipts print from the kiosk when ordering so we asked a team member for our receipts so we could contact the corporate office. The employee had to go get the manager (Jose) from the back, I’m assuming from the office, who came to the front on his cell phone and remained on his cell phone why getting our receipts. Never once did the manager ask us if there was any concerns or if he could help us in any way. I highly encourage you to take a look at the negative reviews on this place and think twice about visiting this establishment until the owners decide to put leaders in here that care about helping the team members and also cares about the customer experience. Unfortunately, we didn’t read the reviews before we visited but it’s definitely a lesson learned. As far as our experience, the corporate office has been contacted and I will continue to follow up on this because what my family experienced last night is a far cry from quality food and...
Read moreWe went through the drive up around 7pm. We were the 5th vehicle in line. By the time that we were ordering there were 2 in front of us and 3 behind us that I could see. My point is that it was moderately busy. The young lady that took our order was extremely SOFT SPOKEN. We were having trouble hearing each other. Possibly part of the problem was the head set. I shut my 2020 gmc suv off so both parties could communicate better. We still had to repeat ourselves. After receiving our order we pulled over to the side of the parking lot to eat. Every thing that we ordered was barely warm. Seriously!! I had the traditional chicken sandwich and fries and my wife had a number 1 single burger. Both of our fries were cool to the touch and kind of soggy. My chicken was slightly warm. The hamburger was about the warmth that we’d expect. We had asked for salt and catsup. There was none. No straws for our drinks. No napkins. We ordered Frosty’s and there were no spoons. I drove around the building AGAIN and waited in line AGAIN at the drive through. When I got back to the ordering speaker for the SECOND TIME... I asked for salt. Catsup. Napkins. Straws. And spoons. I was told to: pull around. There was quite a few vehicles in line so I pulled up and over in the order pickup parking. We were the only ones in the area. It was right outside of the pickup order window. We waited and waited. We expected someone to come out the side door where we were parked. We decided to leave and go home and warm the food up so that it was edible. In hindsight the young lady must have meant for us to stay in the order pickup line and when we got to the window she would have given us the other things that we were missing. Had it been me inside I would have went outside to find the customers. I know that these are young people and that they are in the learning process. I like seeing them working and not just laying around. Hopefully you as a manager or owner might use this as a “TEACHING...
