This is by far the best bar in Brandon hands down , actually in Tampa as whole, if your in town you'd definitely have to check this World of Beer location out. As it has ruined any other bar for me, because it's service is way too damn good to compete with. From the Bartender's, Servers, Managers ,Cook to even the Bussers !! everyone has a role in making this bar the best in town.
Let's start with the front of the house, which is the most important part of the bar. This place knocks it out of the park by having amazing personalities always bartending. First up is Jenna, the WOB queen, Literally has her own drink on the menu , but we'll get to that later. She is quite possibly one of the best bartenders I've ever seen. Her talent is immersible, I keep saying she should make a TikTok to be famous , but we'll see. Her personality alone is worth the trip, so loving and wise. Why spend a couple hundred on a therapist when She can give you her wisdom with beer lol!!! Either her or the other WOB queen Laura , the amazing redhead, she is basically a bar mom and make sure every guest is taken care of and goes the extra mile for everyone. Then if you would like someone to cheer you up with her cheerleader personality, look no further than Ange. Easy to find with her amazing tattoos. To give you casual vibes, you have Sam and Autumn . They're basically the cool kids of the group who help lessen the stress.
For if you just want to chill and eat, that no worries they have amazing servers like Kendall and Bri, who bring their southern charm. You could swear they were cowgirls in their past lives . Because their charm is so good they’ll make your feel like you're on Broadway in Nashville . Other amazing servers like Krystinn and Abigail offer the best quality service. The kind of service you'd expect from Sugar Factory or Berns Steakhouse , not a bar. Tho a lot of credit has to go the amazing managers Randi, Joe and Nate. Who are the nicest most hard working bar managers around and help make their customers feel like family. All while keeping the place smoothly running and perfect. I know it's definitely not an easy job, so wanted to give them recognition.
This menu is absolutely amazing because it feels the cooks work hard to make sure each dish is the best. There are also a wide variety drinks , even one made by the best bartender in town, Jenna. Called Mango Tango , perfect colorful fruity tropical flavors mixed with a little spice just like her personality . Then if you're look for somewhere to spend your Sundays, look no further than the amazing brunch here !! perfect with delicious breakfast dishes and mimosas!!
This is bar far the cleanest bar I've ever seen, rarely ever is there a crumb left on a table. Environment is very much comfortable small town bar vibe. Dogs are allowed in the amazingly designed outside patio to chill. They even have treats incase for them. Games are available both physical and digital. There's Jenga , Cornhole , and an arcade game. Music is amazing variety between Country, Rap, And Pop. Then if you want you can play your own on the jukebox machine. The TV's are always playing a sport for everyone no matter what you like. To add on top of all these amazing features, the bar regularly does trivia nights for different pop culture like Harry Potter, Star Wars, And Games of thrones !!
In short if I had choose one bar to drink from the rest of my life it be this one, gives me the best small town bar vibes. From the Staff, Decor, Menu and Events!! If you're visiting Tampa or Anywhere near , I'd definitely recommend making a trip out to experience this World Of...
Read moreWhen we walked in we were thrilled because the parking lot was really packed, but there might have been 30 people inside. They are next door to Fuzzy's Tacos so that had to be where all the people was at. Anyway, I'm thinking this will be a quick stop for a bite and we can get or errands done afterwards. So I noticed that our server was busing tables, running behind the bar and drawing beers & making drinks then back out to take orders for those of us sitting at tables. Once she comes to our table and we give our order she tells us it's a 45 minute wait for food and she follows with, "the kitchen is running behind." Ok, great excuse to just chill and spend quality time. About 30 mins later our loaded tater tots come out. They were cold but what really got me was the beer cheese was like someone took it right out of the refrigerator. Then about an hour and 30 mins later our burgers arrive. I must admit the burger was delicious and actually arrived hot along with hot fries. After we had finished our burgers I stopped our server and inquired if my pretzel was ready and she said she would check on it, but had that look that made me realize she probably wasn't going to return with good news. About 5 mins later she returns and informs me that no it wasn't ready. I told her at this point we had been there over 2 hours and to just remove the pretzel off my bill and that I felt I had waited long enough on my food. She apologized and brought my check. My feeling is this: After the pandemic I am trying to be as patient as I can with any place of business because I know it continues to be a struggle. I can't imagine being a restaurant owner and not knowing when your going to be forced to shut the doors permanently. It's a damn shame so many prior employed people are taking advantage of the unemployment system because, from what I've heard, they are making more money on unemployment than they did working in restaurants and are perfectly content staying home till their benefits run out. In the meantime this young woman who was serving us should get a raise, promotion or at the least have a job screening job applicants cause her work ethic is top notch. Sadly I doubt we will return because we like to go where we can eat while having a few drinks. Go there for the beer and sports, but I can't in good conscience recommend ordering...
Read moreWorld of Beer is not my typical type of restaurant. I don't even like beer. I didn't even know they served food, I thought they were a liquor store lol. But my friend decided to have their birthday celebration there and so I went. And I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. First of all I did my homework and I checked out the menu on their website first. Which brings me to my 1st and favorite point about World of Beer… their website is amazing and informative. They have a vast assortment of beers and beverages and I think every one of them is listed and reviewed on their site. They have several ways of sorting all this information which is very helpful if you are a noob like myself. As I said, I really detest beer but I do quite enjoy cider and so I was able to sort by choosing ciders and I got to explore all of the ciders that they offer with a detailed description of each one including where it came from and the type of fruit or whatever was used in the brewing process. It was incredibly helpful. Their entire menu is also on the website and well organized. The menu has an interesting variety of foodstuffs that pair well with beer, of course. Which brings me to my 2nd favorite thing about world of beer, which is they have darn good food. It is primarily pub food but had some adventurous deviations. I highly recommend the Mac and cheese bites. I know Mac and cheese bites are not very adventurous or deviant but I just had my wisdom teeth out so I was limited in what I could actually eat. I look forward to going back another time in trying some of the less usual items on their menu.We were out on the back patio which had a taco bar going on at the time (I think that was part of the party) and everything was fresh and delicious. The wait staff did a great job of keeping our glasses full but the space on the back patio is limited in where you can set your drinks and I do think they could have been a little quicker about clearing away the empties. In their defense, it was a very busy Saturday night so we'll cut them a break this time. I think you should definitely try this place. I will...
