Wok N Roll — Restaurant in Florida

First time ordering from these awful people the other night. Half an hour after the estimated arrival of my order, I called to check on it, and they instructed that it would take 15 more minutes. 20 minutes later when I called back, they said the same thing, and I promptly informed them to cancel and refund my order. After they resisted me and tried to say it was almost there, I told them this was not acceptable and to refund my order. The gentleman told me, in a very rude and abrasive way, that I should refuse the order if I expect a refund. That made sense, and I did that. 20 minutes later, I checked my account and noticed a reversal and was content to leave it at that, but awoke the next morning to find the money had once again been taken out of my account. I called the store when they opened and informed them of this, and asked to speak to a manager. The same rude man (who refused to give me his name at this point) instructed me that the manager would not be in until the next day. I am currently awaiting a response from my bank on whether or not this refund is pending on my account, and you can be sure that if it is not, a chargeback will be issued and further legal action will be taken if necessary. I have eaten at another location before, and found the food to be prepared well, which prompted my order, but I can tell you absolutely that their food is not good enough to justify their abysmal customer service. If I knew the name of that individual whom I spoke to twice, I would definitely call him out to his manager. If I were his manager, I would not only fire him, but blacklist him in our database to prevent him from applying at other company locations. We ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken and Pork fried rice, Beef Mein Fun, Crab Ragoon, and got a couple free egg rolls with a coupon. The sweet and sour chicken, was good! However, the rice tasted off and it had a sawdust texture. This reminds me of when you put rice in the fridge then reheat it. Either way it tastes bad and stale. The Mein Fun didn't have a lot of flavor but it tasted good, however there was a black hair in the food and I don't have black hair. Gross. The crab Ragoon tasted like every other Chinese takeout crab Ragoon. It's probably frozen and fried, simple. The egg rolls are the same and I've never found them to be my favorite but they are ok.

There wasn't any duck sauce in the to go containers so I was a little sad but it's no big deal. They were busy and didn't want to bother asking.

If you're looking for cheap, fast Chinese, give this a shot, maybe you'll get lucky with a better meal. The people who work there are very friendly. I only wish the food would have...

The place is really busy. So, no not many pleasantries on the phone. But they take your order and they get it right and if you have delivery they get it to you within a reasonable amount of time. I've eaten Chinese food all over the country. If you like shrimp chow mein which is a difficult to make because if you make it wrong you end up with a dish with no flavor. Or you like the Singapore noodles (me fun) you will get them and they taste as close to authentic as you can. So I choose not to gripe about the fact that they are so busy and working as fast and hard as they can and concentrate on the fact that I always get a good dinner. You pick your priorities. Also I think people need to remember you can't please everyone, every time. And there's always that one person where it's just not good enough. I like this place. Just thought I'd share my opinion.
