Inexperienced employees should not be working Customer Service. Went in simply to make a payment on my Belk card. Watched Gina fumble thru helping the customer in front of me, that was my warning sign. Took my payment info and fumbled thru the process, my card was charged but no receipt. Had me input my payment info a 2nd time and fumbled thru the process and my card was again charged but no receipt. Wanted to do it a third time but I asked for a manager. Good thing I have funds in my account or she could have overdrawn my account. Maryanne came thru to show Gina the correct steps but you need your Belk Mastercard card and I didn't have it so I still had to call the toll free number. Wish I would have done that to start with. I was shopping around but in a customer service like position as myself whenever I have the opportunity to listen in, I do. This lovely young lady wish so patient and incredible with her customers. She had a couple of tough ones I must admit. Did this derail Shanee? Not for 1 second. She handled these folks with such Grace and patience. Read moreWalked across store with a online return. Several closed customer service areas. Finally saw a human and asked my question, to be told if you have shoes take them to shoes. Ok....I have not brought anything back so had no idea. She could have been a bit nicer. Well got back to that area of store in shoes Young man was very pleasant and helpful. Had my return done in about 2 minutes. Told me all was taken care of. Thank you young man . I know the Orange Park Mall is having hard times. So sad. But for the few customers that do come there.
